Silver Wind RV Park and Cabins

A gem of an RV park/campground. We were allowed to arrive early which worked out perfectly for our travel day. Very nice park. Level sites, full hookups, very helpful staff. The laundry facilities were clean and plentiful. Had a really great dinner at the food truck on site. A perfect place to stay if you want to explore Caprock Canyon State Park.

We planned a trip to Caprock Canyon State Park. I looked for a great place to stay that was close by, yet affordable. I came upon Silver Wind RV Park and Cabins and made a late reservation. The reservation, check in, and check out process was seamless. The cabin experience was wonderful and not to mention they have an absolute beautiful sunset! I would definitely stay here again!

After reading Jason's review, my son and I decided to rent a cabin. We are also headed to a motorcycle race in Turkey.
Nice clean cabin. I was happy to find a small kitchenette and bathroom inside the cabin.

Make sure to try the food truck. We both had very good Philly cheese steaks. Great fries and fresh salad. Good prices, too.

I booked this location after registering for a bike race in Turkey Texas...I didn't care for the recommendations of the race event so I did my own research and found this total gem of an RV park. This place is great. New owners and they are serious about customer satisfaction. They even have a new food truck to serve not only the RV park but the surrounding community. The food, is legit good. I had the Pizza one night, the club sand for lunch...heck you don't need to pack food and cook at your campsite...just come to the food truck..they offer breakfast lunch and dinner at real world fair prices. If I was going to own an RV park, this is the model I would follow. The owners and staff are uber friendly and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. If you are stopping through on your journey across Texas or the country and you find yourself near this place, stop and book here. Lastly, the Sunsets, bring your camera/phone

Great campground right in town, but really quiet. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Food truck on site was a big plus….varied menu and breakfast on weekends.
Definitely would stay here again if we were in the area.

Nice, peaceful place to stay. Sites are big and flat. Owners are on-site and friendly. Dollar General is within walking distance. A thunderstorm rolled through and the resulting sunset was out of this world. I will be staying here again

Great little campground! Super clean and all pull-thru sites, nice level sites with full hook-ups w/a great laundry room. New owners have really improved this Campground! They are super nice folks! Great for overnight or longer stays. Short distance to Palo Duro Canyon state park for day hiking. Would def come back! They even have a food truck on site that serves lunch/dinner. Price is $30 a night for your RV. You will be pleasantly surprised! Stayed here in a motorhome. They also have some cute rental cabins.

New owner has done a lot of improvements. Very quiet, comfortable, family friendly place. Greatest addition is their food truck "Briscoe Bites"! Great menu, good food, reasonably priced.

Could not get reservation in Caprock Canyon Stste Park so stayed here. Wonderful!!! Very clean; well managed; full hookups (yipee); reasonable price; level and nicely done and maintained sites. Eventhough on the highway, it is quiet for good sleeping. Very convient to the park. A Dollar General in Silverton can fix you up with what you might need, too
Enjoyed a good pizza from the on site food truck, too!

We enjoyed our stay at this well maintained RV PARK. The RV pad was perfectly level, the restroom was small but very clean and maintained , and they even have a food truck! We'd stay there if we go back that way.

Park is updated and neat as a pin. Large rv spaces with new rock pads. Owners are kind and helpful. Excellent place to stay in the Texas Panhandle.

We were delighted to find the charming rusticity of the cabins. The owners greeted us warmly and made sure we knew they would make themselves available for any questions or issues. We slept in the blissful silence of the high desert and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the giant stars in that dark blue night sky.
The cabins are clean (most importantly!) and we’ll stocked with dishes, towels, and coffee! We’ve booked for another stay, and we anticipate returning often as long as our relatives live in Silverton.

Very nice clean room, plenty of space and very comfortable. Had plenty of outlets for our c-paps and electronic stuff to charge. Definitely recommend. Will stay here again when we need a place to stay in this area!

I was on a bicycle tour when I got caught in a rain storm. The cabin I stayed in was just what I needed. A nice, quiet, dry, place to sleep. David was very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay there again.

Easy check in. Great newly remodeled cabin, comfortable beds. Easy access to Silver Wind location. Great customer service !

Driving late thru territory we were not familiar with. Found them online and phoned them right at closing but still 45 min away. They told us “ no prob “ and waited for us. Super friendly and a very nice park with cabins and lots of RV spaces. Close to town and handy all around.

Stayed here in our RV. The owners are great. The campground is very clean. The bathrooms are clean. They have a very nice laundry. We travel with our hunting dogs and we were able to work them every day.
This is a nice location between Palo Dura and Caprock State Parks.
Silverton has a Dollar Store that is equipped with almost everything, a place to get propane and a diner that makes great burgers.
