Duncan Bridge Marina

From our lake front porch on Smith Lake. We are nestled near the historic Duncan Bridge. Our little home doesn't disappoint us. Im still recovering from the humidity of the late August evenings & being from Colorado, it's so different and almost mystifying as around every cornertheres another plant or flower to amaze your visual senses. I miss all the beautiful things that I always find, and I can't wait to get back to Alabama & its Amazing beautiful and breath-taking landscape. The tiny creatures subtle remind me that I am a blessed child, and I'm always filled with amazement when we are in the south, as this slice of heaven is worth traveling to! I know that I am just doubly blessed to have the opportunity to have our own little slice of heaven go to, relax, and just enjoy where everyones friendly! Whether you can enjoy peace of listening to the frogs and other little sounds of lifes little creatures all night or not, I emplore EVERYONE to please take a moment no matter where you are to stop and enjoy the little things that our creator has put into this amazing world, and be a child filled with awe from time to time it truly does a soul good! Just stopped to let Blayze sun for a minute and to enjoy the view on a warm early November day. I love this view and the upgrade to this area is amazing .

Super friendly staff at Duncan Bridge Marina. Chloe always greets us with a smile! Our boys love swimming at the beach. On weekends you may find a food truck for a quick snack.

I grew up around the water due to us having a pool in my youth back in the 1990s, but as times go on and things change, that pool got filled in and an addition to our house was built over it. So over 15 years of legitimately needing to return to the water, I went here and was very happy I had done so. I've driven past this place many times over the years with my father on our way to trade farm machinery, and never once did I think there was a beach access here. I'm so happy to have found this place! I have a nice collection of recreational scuba equipment, both new and vintage that i've been itching to try out and want to do so here over time! Coming here absolutely made my day, thank you so much~

Duncan Bridge Marina has a small, quaint, peaceful, clean, and flat beach area to play or relax on with Smith Lake's beautiful water view and a nice sized swimming area buoyed off just to the right side of their boat launches and on the water gas station. The swim area closes once it gets dark, and it only costs $3 per person for beach and water access for the entire day. They do have a covered pavilion with picnic tables as well on the beach area. If you'd like to launch a boat, then it only costs $10 in which includes a 24hr video surveillance of your vehicle and trailer. They also offer wet and dry boat slips to rent along with RV rental lots which are available year round. The people who work there and run the marina are very nice, blunt, and accommodating. Overall, my family of 3 loves and enjoys this place of business!!!

We walked around at the Marina and just looked at the sights. It was really nice. The sounds you hear also when your the only ones there or almost the only one's, was really nice too. Didn't think to record the sounds but wish I had done it now. It's beautiful.

I just love smith lake . An Duncan Bridge Mariana is the perfect place to enjoy the water. They have the boating dock, a place t for storing boats and a beach to bring the family. Beautiful clean water. Beautiful place

Great place to launch a boat or swim. The "beach area" is a nice spot to hang out in the summer time but realize it's a beach on smith lake not the ocean. Keep your expectations in check lol otherwise it's a ton of fun, you can bring chairs and umbrellas, coolers etc. They do have a small pavillion with picnic tables also. There is a concrete floor once you get in the water so that's something to keep in mind, I highly reccomend wearing water shoes for traction.

A staple on Smith Lake for many years. It has evolved over the decades. Excellent quality public boat launch and boat storage facility.

Great day for a perfect outing. Water so clear you could see the bottom in the swimming area. Not crowded on this day, food truck acomomation was very nice, and the water was the perfect temp. Best of all was the getting away to relax and enjoy some really fun time with some very special people.

I drive over 20 miles (one way) to go here! It's always clean & safe! I refuse to go anywhere else!

Stayed a week in March at the camp area next to the ramp and found everything fine. Mgr is very nice and accommodating. Showers and laundry are a little ways from the ramp sites but were ok. I plan on coming back in October. Nice place.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Open 7 days a week which is wonderful since we like to take the boat out on the weekends. Clean bathrooms and nice supply/snack shop.

My wife and I got a ham and cheese, chips,and a drink and then a shaved ice. It was probably the best I've had. It was a food trailer across Duncan bridge owned by Timmy and Sherry Fill. You have to try It, you'll love it.

We love it!! We try to get to the marina at least 2-3 times a week! Price is great to get in, it is always clean and kept up. One of my favorite places to be!
