El Molcajete Mexican Restaurant

This is a restaurant in a small town but close to a city. I was there two times. Food always good, fresh and you get served fast - perfect for a lunch break at work. At this place food has good taste. I did not see it crowded but enough people to understand that it is a good place to eat.

Incredible stuff! The place is so clean and the hostess was a darling. ♡ Unassuming from the outside, the inside is qonderfully decorated and layed out. Not to mwntion the food is top tier and fresh! Had the nachoes, #3 and #8. Everything was delicious and cant wait to being friends

This was my first time eating here and I can definitely say we will be going back we were treated like family and the food was out of this world the best Mexican food I've ever had

This place has amazing food. Mostly authentic. Really good salsa. Super nice people work here.They have alcohol. What else do you need?

The best Mexican food Chillicothe has to offer. The Margaritas are great and the portions are generous. My favorite is the Burrito Mexicano. Yum!

I've eaten at their old location but today was my first time at the new. I adore the atmosphere here. There is plenty of seating without feeling too crowded. The food is just as delicious as before. I highly recommend coming here whether for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner with friends and family.

Got here 15 minutes before closing and asked if I had time to eat, and the young woman politely said if I know what I want, or can order quickly because they'll be closing soon.
I thought I knew exactly what I wanted (a chicken burrito dinner) but she asked me what kind of chicken burrito. I basically heard a bigger burrito with lots of stuff in it, and it seems it was a burrito Mexicana.
It was definitely a big burrito, and covered in chihuahua cheese.
With a side of guacamole, beans and rice, it was perfect.

The service provided was very polite, and not rushed.

Feeling very satisfied!

Just one thing, I almost drive to Peoria because there was no menu on here..
The restaurant could benefit from uploading pics of the menu here on Google maps.

I wanted something different for lunch, a quick Google search led me to El Molcajete! The interior is a surprise because from the outside it looks rather small. However, inside is roomy, with a hint of hacienda.

On the menu I found a nice variety of lunch options to choose from. The entire menu was available to order from, which was great because there are many tempting items on the regular menu that are not available at other Mexican restaurants. My lunch arrived quickly and was DELICIOUS! I'll be honest, I played it safe and ordered chicken enchiladas but glancing at my fellow diners, I wish I had tried the Fajitas or one of the Molcajete dishes.
Definitely a little gem found in Chillicothe. , you won't be disappointed.

I`ve had molcajete in several places in mexico city, but this is one of the best molcajetes you will ever have. Try it out you wont regret it.

Last night was our first time trying and it won't be the last. We enjoyed our Nachos Supreme and the huge burrito. I got the margarita sampler- also good! We will definitely be back

We travel all over, but this is the best Mexican food. Good size portions, too.

Great restaurant with friendly staff and reasonable prices. I tried the carnitas plate. It was nice and tender and had plenty of leftovers!

The family loves this place. Always something for the kids to try. I've had about half of the menu so far. I recommend the chorizo pollo. The chimichanga vera Cruz is great as well. The wife loves the fajitas and the kids order the shrimp tacos frequently. The service is usually great, unless they are slammed which is understandable. The margaritas are awesome as well and reasonably priced for the size. The kids always ask for the xjango (spelled horribly wrong, probably) for dessert as well. I highly recommend checking them out.

The service Molcajete was fast and friendly. Food was awesome. Highly recommend for dine in or take out in Chillicothe. I am looking forward to enjoying this food again soon in the future.
