Fort Gaines Health and Rehab

The meet and greet at the door was great first off. The opening of the door and closing of the door. Courteous to the upmost. Walking down the hallway, everything was sooo clean, bright, and the smiles you get. It was only our second visit, but the resident we came to see barely even acknowledged us as we were TRYING to talk to him. HE WAS HAVING SOME MAJOR DOMINOE FUN! Wow!!! What a place. It did our hearts good to see him like that. He had been thru so much and he was happy. Looking forward to our next visit!!!!

My Mom moved to Fort Gaines Health and Rehab a few weeks ago. This was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make. Vicky Purcell made the transition so much easier. We started the process many weeks before she was admitted. Vickey kept me informed every step of the way and always answered all of my questions. She was always so helpful and thoughtful. She made the transition so much easier and eased my anxiety over moving my Mom. Thankful for Vicky and all of the staff. I just can’t say enough for this facility. Everyone is so good to my Mom. Her therapy team is wonderful. All of the staff are so kind and caring. They always make sure my Mom has what she needs and will always take time to answer my questions. This facility deserves 5 stars plus.

This is a quaint, peaceful, and homelike facility. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the facility, and how nice the staff was. Everyone, from the housekeeping staff to the administrator, showed our family compassion at a difficult time in our lives. This is a great place to bring your loved ones to receive excellent and compassionate care.

This place has the upmost respectable staff! Patient care is 100%, and this place is clean as a whistle. I do recommend this establishment if needed. Never seen such beautiful care and attention to detail🙏🏿🙏🏿!

This is an older facility. However, the staff here is awesome! They really seem to take pride in taking very good care of the residents here. The facility is kept clean and so are the residents. Whenever I go to visit my mother, she is fresh and clean. She seems to be happier. I am so thankful for Mrs. Vickie Purcell for working diligently to help me get my Mom moved here. I feel that she really went above and beyond to get things done. I also am thankful for Mrs. Tara William's. I havent had any major problems. However, when I have a concern, she gets it's taken care of. I am also thankful for the nurses and all of the staff that take care of my mother. They have been such a blessing to us and I pray that God continues to bless each and every one of them. They are so pleasant and professional.

I can’t say enough about the Staff and help here at Fort Gaines. I got my dad admitted today but Mrs Vickie has worked diligently with me for weeks and made the progress easy. Today has been probably the hardest thing ever but they all gave me a sense of peace and I think daddy is going to adjust well. Thank you so much

Recently my family had to seek assistance for my uncle. I must say Vicki P. has been so helpful during this process. She explained every step we had to take to make this go a little less sad and made more efficient . I'm so thankful to Vicki P and the staff that administered him. Vicki was a blessing.

Vicky keep Us updated Daily, either by phone call or email. asking always if there is anything that can be done to make His stay better? Sometimes She makes Calls for Him to talk to Us.
I think Vicky and the Nursing Facility and Staff, Deserve more than a 5 (Five) Rating.

The experience was awesome. From arriving until leaving, staff was amazing and friendly. I loved the two ladies up front. They have an awesome Covid check in machine. The best ever!!!

I want to give this facility more than 5 stars, but that is the limit for google reviews. I especially want to give kudos to Vicky in Admissions at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab because she has gone above the call of duty with assisting me with getting my dad readmitted to the facility. When a staff member gives you their personal cell phone number although she is dealing with family issues of her own really meant a lot to me.

My mom has been here at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab for 5 years now. She loves it here and she loves the staff that cares for her. They treat her with the upmost respect and care. I really appreciate Fort Gaines Health and Rehab for providing my mom with such great care! Thanks goes to the great leadership and staff.

My experience with Ft. Gaines Health and Rehab, and specifically Ms. Purcell, has been positive. The team here has been so helpful with getting my brother admitted here. Very professional and friendly team. Thank you so much!

Edit, After many months now, I know I made the correct choice in choosing Ft. Gaines Health and Rehab as my brother's long term care facility, Thank you Tara, Vickie , and the Nurses and Staff for caring for my brother through this Covid outbreak.

The staff was very courteous helpful and pleasant. The facility was very clean well organized and the rooms were very nice.

Great Facility. I visit my Grandmother here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The facility is well kept and super clean. I highly recommend.

Excellent and caring staff who are taking great care of my father. Top notch communication and always address questions/concerns promptly and efficiently. Very loving staff who always makes sure my daddy is taken care of.

My son and I had a great experience visiting my grandmother at the facility. She really seems to like it. The staff are friendly and caring.

I am a retired nurse, I worked in nursing homes in the state on Pennsylvania and the state of Alabama. My mother lived in a nursing home and I took her home to be with the lord. One thing she told me I am glad to be out of there. My brother was in the nursing home in Alabama I won't call no name of which facility but I can say it was the city of Eufaula.I relocated him to Fort Gaines Health and rehab center Omg I was so impressed from the time I went over and visited and the greeting I received everyone was so nice the staff,the CNA's,housekeeping, even the cook what impressed me the most was the smell of the facility some of them only smell better when they know the state is coming in but you can go in fort Gaines night or day it smells the same. I took my brother over to visit to make sure he wanted to stay there he wanted to move in the same day. I would like to say thank you to everyone for your special care to all the residents that lived at the facility they seem to be so happy and they really look nice.Hats off to Fort Gaines!!!! And Ms.Vicky!!

The staff at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab goes above and beyond to help meet your needs. They are friendly and very professional. The facility is clean and a great place for your loved one.

I have been employed at Fort Gaines Health and Rehab for almost 12 years. I spent 11.5 of those years as a Dietary Cook and recently moved to HR and Payroll. I have continued here because the employees and residents are like family to me. If I had a family member that required care I would place them here without hesitation.

I know one of the employees that work here. She has always been overboard when it comes to giving, helping, and caring for others. This is a great match for you Vicky Love!
