Ordered the tenderloin and onion rings, they where busy so I figured they would be a little delayed, but came rather quickly. One of the best tenderloins I've had, they used a really good quality of pickles and added to the flavor of the tenderloin. Onion rings where cooked perfectly and couldn't ask for anything more.

Love the food here! The portions more than plenty! Mary was our waitress and I swear she brings color into an otherwise nonmemorable atmosphere! She kindly suggested the specials and really just made sure we had a good dining experience!

We were in Bushnell for a wedding over the weekend & decided to all meet for breakfast before going our separate ways.... Very good food, reasonably priced & nice sized portions.
It has that country hometown charm.... Good quick service & friendly atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service with a relaxed atmosphere. Ordered catfish fillets, which were quite good and the way better than average coleslaw. I took home an extra dinner with me, that's how much I enjoyed it.
It's definitely worth the stop.

11/21/23 I had forgotten how good the breading is on these catfish fillets! Coleslaw is excellent as well. A must try if you like fish.

Good wholesome atmosphere and tasty meals.
This is the classic small town diner. The food has good season, cooked to order, and the portions are gracious.
My husband is very picky about his burger, and he was pleasantly surprised with the size and flavor.

My significant other and I stopped here from Iowa on our way to a reunion. We were very happy with the service and food! The whole staff is very kind and welcoming. Great place to eat.

Highway Family Restaurant is one of our favorite places to eat. Being greeted by staff when we walk in makes us feel like family. My husband LOVES the strawberry pancakes. 🍓
The food is never a disappointment.

It was my first time at this restaurant. It was Mother's Day evening. We ordered our food, and the waitresses came back and said they were out of what we wanted. Had to pick another item. The food came timely and was good. The restaurant got more crowded as we ate, and louder. The waitress was friendly and checked on us a couple times. I will go back and try something new next time!!!!

Great place to eat some homemade cooking! I was there for lunch and had the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious! Nice sized portions and decent price. Friendly service too.

Sunday afternoon with a party of 8 adults 2 kids and a toddler....most restaurants would look at you like your nuts. The server here was like WELCOME!!!! Everyone was super friendly...the food was amazing...the AMOUNT OF FOOD FOR THE PRICE....UNREAL!!! Every single one of us went home will full bellies and left overs. The meatloaf was as good as my moms (maybe better) and I NEVER say that...please dont tell her I said that. The staff was so pleasant and so nice. I cant wait to go back.

Great place for a meal anytime , prices are reasonable and plenty to eat . GreT variety of meals . We are regular customers there and have been going there for over Twenty Years .

We typically order for pick up, the food is always great and done quick.
Dinning in is good too, servers are always friendly. Nothing better than a small town restaurant.
