I'm sure it's a nice church with good people. A very sad day when I visited for a visitation for a great young man that had passed

What can i say, its my moms church. The sanctuary used to be on the sanduskey street end it was over 100 yrs old with real old stained glass windows a working bell tower/steeple.
It burned in a fire many. Years ago. It was sad the windows melted into big goo blobs! They built the new an sanctuary on the end by the park but it feels "wrong" like a new bar in a strip mall! Then they had a massive fund drive to buy new stained glass, i couldnt wait to see them. ..
Boy was i disapointed they are not stained glass at all. Some "artist" painted bible scenes on regular clear glass with some semi transparent type paint, and colors are in the pastel end of the range making them look faded and poorly done and to think they paid about 100 k for those!!!
