Food is good, clean restaurant, plenty of variety, something for even picky eaters. Everybody we encountered greeted you with a smile. BUT... our Waitress was phenomenal!!! Friendly, funny, everything on point!! Made our breakfast extra fun!!!!
This is our second time visiting this restaurant and we will definitely be back!!

Come on in and get you some breakfast! This place is nice and cozy and right off of 57. Pricing is great and the staff are amazing. Bring your family and friends because they would love it!

Amazing family diner with the best chicken dumpling soup! All the food is great and homemade, this is our favorite place to come after we get a Christmas tree. Owners and staff are so friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

First time in here, very nice clean little. Jimmy greeted us, chatted a bit and shared a bit of the restaurant's history.

My husband and I just stopped in for some breakfast. We are headin' back home to Louisiana from Chicago. ( Son's Navy Graduation) Everything was 5⭐!! Very friendly, Food was down home good!!! Easy access from the highway. Thank you Windmill Family!!

Amazing food. The chicken and rice soup is absolutely delicious. The sweet lady working is very kind and fast. She moves alot faster than you would think. Everything has came out perfectly spaced out. The salad is even good and it's hard to get me to add that.
So thank you so much for the wonderful experience me and my family loved everything especially the service. We will be back for sure.

My family and I stopped here for an early dinner. We drove from Chicago after calling and asking what soup they had today. (Sunday) they said cream of chicken and rice and we were excited. Let me tell you they did not disappoint it was actually so good we ordered 3 more soups Togo after eating our delicious meals. So we will definitely be back thank you so much for the service and food. Our waiter was a sweet lady that was very attentive and efficient.

Great family restaurant, we come here for lunch every year after we cut down our Christmas tree. Great food, great people. The dumpling soup is great, my omelet and hash browns were great too. Kids loved the crepes. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

Its little cleared out, getting ready for dinner crowd. Best food with a homemade taste i have had in a while. The staff is very friendly and go out of there way to remember who you are. The food is very reasonably priced and I never had anything I didn't like. The fries are crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside, the soups are wonderful. You should really give them a try.

What a local treasure! I am visiting from Texas and am staying in an Air B&B, so having a “home cooked” meal is not likely…until I happened on the Windmill. Tonight’s special is Stuffed bell peppers with mashed potatoes and green beans. I haven’t had that meal since my Grandma was alive…25+ years ago. The peppers and green beans were amazing! Just like I remembered…I’ll be here for a few more weeks and guarantee they will see quite a lot of me. Oh! And a lovely woman works the register and a very nice man answered the phone. I’m full and have that warm, fuzzy, comfort food feeling! Thank you!
