Splash Universe

Our recent visit to Splash Universe was an absolute blast, and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our next trip back! The first thing that struck us was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that every guest had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel like valued guests. The staff's exceptional knowledge of the water park and its amenities was truly impressive as the water park wasn’t open our excitement built for the opening. They went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, provide helpful recommendations, and assist us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Thank you Splash Universe we will be back :)

CALL AHEAD BEFORE YOU BOOK! I haven't stayed here but I did call and the WaterPark is not available only the rooms. If you purchase from here they will assume you want a room and charge you full price. They do not tell you the Waterpark is closed. Just be aware.

We had a great time! My son turned 3 and we had to postpone his celebration due ther weather. We went a week last than we'd initially planned. But he loved it so much! The inside temperature is very comfortable. The water in each area was a different temperature, but none of it was too cold. The lifeguards seemed attentive, even though they seemed a little bored at times. I never felt like they weren't paying attention. We bought a season pass (great price!) so we plan to go back a lot this year. Can't wait!

My family and I had a blast! Our overnight stay was comfortable. Sydney was helping me check in when we first arrived and she was very sweet. We also rented out a cabana on the 2nd floor and that was the best part for me! It was very spacious and nice to relax in while watching the kids have a blast in the water. Ben was absolutely amazing and attentive with us in our cabana. Staff was wonderful in general. I'd definitely spend another weekend there soon.

We stayed here in December. The rooms were clean. The kids Loved the bunk beds. The park was well staffed with eager and well trained employees, they were all super helpful. Only issue was the arcade games were iffy. They didn't work 100% and none of them spit out tickets. Again, when we brought it to the staff attention they were very accommodating. It upset my husband more than the kids, lol. They can't wait to come back!!

We enjoyed it so much we started an annual winter get away! The hotel rooms are very nice. The water park is warm and comfortable, also there are plenty of areas for playing! The arcade area is a nice addition for extra fun. We've stayed at the connected holiday inn twice and will continue to stay & play, going to splash universe is a great break from a Michigan winter!

Rooms were clean and well appointed. A little worn, but they appear to be renovating. The waterpark was great; clean, well supervised and the kids had a blast. The arcade was a disappointment; lots of out 9f order games and barely any tickets rewarded. Breakfast was typical hotel fare. Will not rush back, but will return.

My daughter had a wonderful time. She loved the bunk beds in the room. Front desk I originally booked the room with messed something up but the staff that was there when I checked in completely made up for it. Would definitely go again. Was fun for adults as well

We had my daughter's birthday party at this establishment. We rented two cabanas, which were directly outside of the party room. We had a fabulous time. It was a great experience from the beginning. Jennifer was excellent. She took the reservation and answered all my questions. The service was wonderful. Our server was very prompt and extremely attentive. The food was very good. I would defintely recommend having a party there.

We had an excellent time! The hotel accommodations were clean and quiet, however the beds could be comfier. The park is a little on the small side with no actual swimming pool but was a blast for everyone. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet needs some work but we will definitely be back.

Family fun suite has 2 televisions, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The water park is relatively small, but enjoyable for the kids. Lots of kids are usually around so don't expect the lazy river to be too relaxing. Locker rentals are $5, $10, and $15 for a small, medium or large respectively. Continental breakfast was good as well, a voucher came with the suite.

Our experience was the Best! We had a party of 31(21 adults & 10 children) and rented the banquet room above the pool. It was my parents 80th birthday and they wanted a place for their 10 great grandchildren to have just as much fun as the adults...and did they ever!! We all enjoyed the pool. Then had a wonderful meal & spent time together in our own big room. Put the kids to bed then did the breakfast buffet & pool next morning. Wow ...what a great time we had!! I have to say Crystal was the "Best" to work with. She always has a smile & was there making sure we had everything we needed. Lots of my family will be back again!!

Love this water park in our small community! Love their events for families! They have an outdoor splash pad that is small. Wish there were more out there like a pool or hot tub maybe some chairs to lay out in the sun. After an hour of swimming, you are pretty much done. They have had issues with chlorine content in the air. They do have the arcade and breakout rooms are fun! Overall very family friendly! Being a local to the area we have been there quite a bit and would still visit again!

I read a lot of bad reviews about this place so I never came. Glad I finally let my kids talk me into it cause it was a great time. I got the 2 bunk bed suite for $275.00 and they threw in a 50 dollar gift card that you can use at the tree house restaurant and they threw in an 8 hour game card for the arcade. The chlorine wasn't nearly as strong as the reviews I read. None of the 4 kids I took or myselfs eyes are burning or red. Will definitely be back soon.

Stayed 4 nights in a family fun suite on the Splash Universe side. We really enjoyed our stay. Great place for young children! Our room was clean, the beds comfortable for both the kids and my wife and I. Shonae at the front desk, along with the rest of the staff were polite and attentive. The evening quiet hours are from 11pm-7am. Plenty of time to get the kiddos energy out before bed.
Breakfast was pretty standard for type of stay. 7am-10am breakfast hours. Oddly, there was no waffle/pancake syrup in the Treehouse Cafe?

The water park was so much fun for my children. I would suggest going earlier in the week to avoid the weekend crowds. The lifeguards were attentive during our time in the water park.

Visited the waterpark on Black Friday. It was amazing! Our 3 & 6 year old enjoyed it so much! The facilities were clean and inviting, the water temperatures were great, and the indoor temperature was perfect. I didn't get cold like I usually do at Kalahari. We will def be making this a family tradition and stay at the hotel next time. Very kind and helpful lifeguards.
The food was a little pricey, but not too bad for a vacation spot.

I went just over this week for one day. The staff was very friendly, made sure that everything was just right and answered all of my questions that I had. For the ticket price, it was amazing. For less then $100, I was able to take my family on a nice day trip to the water park. As for the actual water park, it was very clean, and very kid friendly. For older kids, it might get boring a little quick, but it was great for my family. I loved our time that we spent there and I highly recommend!

Staff were helpful. Water was warm and there were plenty of lifeguards. It is warm inside so be prepared for that. The website says 84 degrees. It can get a little crowded but it wasn't ever an issue. Kids loved all the water slides and the lazy river was a huge hit.

We had a terrible stay in February. Kids above us were jumping around until 3 am. (Quiet time is 11-7). We called to the front desk at thre times after 11 with no assistance. That ended in a night of no sleep for us and our children.
I reached out to the general manager to air my complaints. Mr. Sharpee listened and responded to our concerns. Top notch customer service. They gave us a free night stay

Second stay we went for the boys birthday. This stay was much better (However we did request a third floor room). We had an upgraded room from our first visit. The pool was warm and clean. Overall we had a really good time. So they deserve a good review. Maybe the first night was a one off.

We will be back.

I was a touch leery after reading the other reviews and full disclosure I didn't stay at the hotel so i can't speak towards that part but... This is an amazing place for children. Teens maybe if they're not being broody. Adults? Well it's not for you or about you. This is for and about your children. You're welcome to take part in a lot of it but it's not going to dazzle your jaded adult senses. Bring your children while they're little. Go with them through the slides and play areas until they're comfortable then just watch as they have an amazing time and be happy with them and for them. It's loud. It's wet. It's got kids themed dining. They'll have a blast.

Only complaint I have is the lack of a real changing area for people using a day pass (unless i missed it). We changed in a shower stall but it wasn't hard to manage so still 5 stars. If you're bringing a mess of kids that need help changing you might want a hotel room, even for the day visit, to change in.
