Gem and diamond jewelry is a wonderful place to go. They are priced very well and do a great job. They repaired my wedding ring and the price was 3 times cheaper then anywhere else I inquired. The owner was very nice and had my ring repaired in a few weeks and did a great job. They also have some very nice jewelry to buy. If you need any repairs done or want to buy a jewelry this is definitely the place to go.

Jeff is fantastic. We came to him with some ideas for a sapphire ring. Jeff drew up a few concepts and even let me take home the ring without the stones to see if my wife liked it. We asked for some tweaks to the design and he delivered exactly what my wife wanted. She loves her new ring!! If you are looking for something custom that you can’t find at the big box stores check out this place.

This is the greatest family owned business ever! I had a close call with another jeweler who did not finish my engagement ring in time. I called this place and was able to get the perfect engagement ring same day. I was extremely grateful to get a better engagement ring then the one I custom ordered and was not taken advantage of or had to pay any more then I wanted to like I thought a business would do since I needed an engagement ring the same day. Extremely happy and grateful and would recommended this place to anyone who needs a quality real dimand engagement ring.

Came here to get my wedding set resized! Other chains wanted $700 but Jeff did it for less than $200! The quality is impeccable and the customer care is top notch! My new go-to for my jewelry needs!

Jeff and Suzanne Johnson are such wonderful people and artists! They went out of their way to help re-make my weddings rings after I had experienced a bad allergy to nickel in white gold. They served my husband and I with great care, attentive customer service, flexibility, sacrifice, and stunning artistry with the design and crafting of the rings. I lost my diamond out of my wedding set so I took it to Rogers and Hollands in August of 2021 to get a replacement diamond and to build up the prongs. They called me in October to give me an estimate of $1,100 so I told them to go ahead and fix it then they called me in December to tell me the estimate again and did I want to get it fixed so I had them send the ring back to the store for pickup without being fixed. I googled Diamond specialist in SI1 clarity and that is when I found Jeff's store in Imlay City . He told me he could build up the prongs better and put a better diamond in it then when we had bought it to begin with and it would be done in 6 weeks. I was so excited to pick it up 6 weeks later and $400 cheaper than the big retail store😊 Thank you so much Jeff, you did a beautiful job!! I will always refer people to you.

What a gem this place is! We moved up here 4 years ago and I just went in "Gem & Diamond Specialists" for my 1st time this week to get some jewelry repaired and got to meet Jeff, who was so kind and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the prices and the beautiful custom work, a certain emerald cut amethyst caught my eye (almost 8 carets), I thought about it all night and went back the next day to buy it, along with 2 silver chains, all of which were so reasonably priced. I am so glad to have found a jewelry place that I can trust, this is for sure my new go to place for all my jewelry needs, so happy I went in.

My engagement ring turned out beautiful! I ended up getting it resized, which only took three days. Very happy with Jeff's work!

Everything was perfect; from Jeff (the owner) helping to create my ring, to when the diamond coming loose him picking it up from our house and ensuring that we had it back (3 days later) before going on vacation. Not only did he pick it up from us, he also dropped it off to us the night before we left. Talk about amazing customer service!

I love that we are a small community and that we have a beautiful store in town which we can do our shopping. Jeff has high quality pieces at very reasonable prices. He also offers the highest pay what he is buying coins and old jewelry he gives you the best money on the market. Jeff and Susan have big hearts for our local community well. Whenever we need a donation they come through. They are a jewel of a business in our community.

I brought in parts of a vintage ring that I really wanted to get put back together / custom work . Jeff was amazing at listening to me for what I was asking for. He explained what would work best for the ring and made sure everything would be secure in it's setting. I couldn't have asked for a better job to be done. It exceeded my expectations.
