Ryan and his crew are top notch. Honestly high quality work, no cut corners, very knowledgeable, and fair pricing. Work was completed on time and exactly as discussed. They even went above and beyond to check a few other things for me to make sure truck was safe and ready for me. Also, as a female, I also appreciate that Ryan talks to me as an equal and not like some dummy.

Pretty darn good experience. They installed some fog lights, headlights, and a lift kit for me since I hate the cold. Joke was on me and I ended up going back to the stock headlights anyway and did it myself. I got to undo all of the work and saw everything they did. They installed the wiring harness relay in the vertical position as required and used zip ties like every 12 inches on the wiring harnesses. Also grounded everything and had everything buttoned up very well. Only have pics of the fog lights they did though.

Had some tires and a tune up just sitting and waiting for me to install on my wife's truck for a while. Unfortunately I'm super busy and well I put it on the back burner. Called Ryan at Imlay city auto, gave them the truck and my forgotten parts, and told them to take their time and just let me know when it's complete. Dropped it Sunday afternoon and BOOM, done Monday mid morning! Super pleasant to work with, honest, and very reasonable. I will be back, and my wife is happy. So what did we learn here kids?....a happy wife=a happy life. Thanks again.

Don and Ryan are the best! I have been going to Imlay City Auto Repair for over a year. I never feel like im being taken advantage of. They are very straightforward with your vehicle needs. Their prices are better than most places around and they are very timely. I wish I knew the guys name that does my oil change, because he is always so polite and quick too! Highly recommended!

Blew a tire on a Saturday, and was able to get my SUV in right away. They said it may take a few hours, but I was at work...so I wasn't worried about it as long as I could have it back the same day. When I dropped it off, I asked if they could look to see what may be wearing the tread down so quickly, as I've only had the vehicle for six months. Not only did they have my vehicle done earlier than they said they would, but also didn't even try to upsell me. Got me a good tire, checked my front end, and all I needed was an alignment. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was super quick. Will definitely throw my business their way again.

In between jobs and on a VERY busy day, our company van's alternator went out. IC auto repair was able to get us in almost immediately, and get the alternator swapped out in around an hour.

Our whole day of business would have been lost if not for them. I highly doubt anyone could have got us taken care of and back on track faster. Without them, not only would we have had to cancel many jobs that day, we would have had to have the van towed all the way back home. They literally saved the day for us and our customers.

Also, the price we paid for such great service was totally affordable. Especially considering how fast everything went.

Ive gone here multiple times now and they always do good work for my family car

Great customer service!!! Had a timing chain replacement done. Got it home, truck wouldn’t start. Ryan came to my house within half hour, found issue, bad connection to starter fixed it. Today truck wouldn’t start, got it towed in an Ryan bumped me to the front. It was the starter. He runs a top notch business and has a customer for life.

Been meaning to write a quick review, but better late than never. Was on my way up to Port Austin over Memorial day weekend and ran into muffler issues on my '06 Impala. Had at one point even thought I may have to just head back home, but these fellas had me back on the road in less than an hour and saved what turned out to be a great weekend for a very low price. Best part is found an authentic Mexican place while I waited that was actually open and got to enjoy some great food. Mind you this was still in the midst of Covid limited shutdown. Thanks again guys!

Hands down the best experience having my car repaired. They were able to diagnose, order the part and repair all in one day. They were also super friendly and their labor fees were reasonable. Will use again.

Ryan and his mechanic were amazing, They did an excellent job with my alignment and were very efficient and timely. Had a nice chat with Ryan about his classic/Muscle cars and checked out his 72 Roadrunner clone. Honest, friendly service!

Dropped it off to them so they could work on it on Friday. I called them they said it was fixed come pick it up very reasonable price.. Actually saved me a $130.. Saturday I went to start it still had the same problem. I called them they made it right. I brought it back to them for Monday.They got it in found the problem it runs super well. Gets better fuel economy now. Highly recommend

I called around for prices for few things I knew needed to be fixed. They was the best prices between imlay city and Lapeer. I brought my van in they checked it out and found few other things that needed to also be fixed. They fixed everything that needed to be fixed and still costed less then other companies wanted for less work. They got my van fixed and back to me that same day even during this pandemic. I was very satisfied with their work and my van is no longer a death trap. Thank you guys for making my van safe again for me and my family. And thank you guys for getting my vehicle done the same day as I had asked. Y’all did amazing work. If anyone needs work done go here they don’t over charge you like other companies.

We moved to the area in June of 2011. We have been taking our cars here since that time. We have older vehicles with lots of wear and all way over 100,000. In fact 2 are close to 200,000 miles. They always treat us with respect. They always are fair with prices. When they repair something it's repaired! Love this place. They keep our vehicles on the road. Terrific! I'll make a long story short (although they deserve a long story). Big snow storm coming and my snow plow truck wouldn't start. Don and Brian diagnosed the problem quickly and correctly and had me back up and running in one day with a new starter on my truck. I've been going to them for years and will continue to do so. I never feel ripped off.

Don, Ryan and their staff work hard to do the work quickly and efficiently for their customers. They are great at notifying people if something unexpected comes up and let them make the decision on how to proceed. We appreciate the little things they do to help out when you are in a bind.

Well priced labor rates. And they do bmw alingments, i know that is simple but no were else in lapeer dose. And i can't say how happy i am that they were able to do that and very well at that.
