Little Oscar's

Highly recommended for a great, down home breakfast. Not because it’s fancy (it’s not) or because its menu is unique (also not), but because it’s just plain old a great breakfast in a classic diner setting. The dining room is clean and the staff is friendly. (The pancakes are as big as your plate, and their caramel rolls & cinnamon rolls are HUGE!) Definitely worth a quick drive to Hampton, just south of Rosemount / Pine Bend for a solid classic breakfast. (The lunch menu looks good too!)

A fantastic small town cafe! Pancakes bigger than the platter it's served on!!! The Mexican omelet was filled with vegetables and the hash browns were perfectly cooked. Stopped on our way back to the cities after the Mayo. We'll definitely stop here our next trip. Thank you for your fast, friendly service and awesome food!

Fantastic place to stop and eat.

Food was incredible and not at all over cooked, coffee was great as well.

The atmosphere was incredible, almost like meeting up with a friend you hadn't seen in a few years. Very very friendly and kind service.

This place is like taking a trip back in time. Home cooking at its best. A quaint little cafe with a Mom and Pop feel to it. The food is amazing and appropriately priced. We ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with a side of chilli and the Mushroom Swiss Chicken sandwich with fries. They were both excellent and cooked perfectly. The burger was perfectly charred a little on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had! And the breakfast looks amazing too! Make sure to stop in if your on your way down to Rochester or coming up to the Twin Cities. You will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I try to eat here as much as we can. The food is really good and the service is great. The loaded hash is enough for 3 people 😋 and the pancakes are huge

I've been to Little Oscar's twice now. Most recently bring yesterday(10/29/23) with friends. I ordered the chocolate chip lumberjack pancakes, which are massive, fluffy, and delicious!

The staff is friendly and accommodates all comers. We had a group of 8 and didn't have to wait long despite the restaurant being busy on a Sunday morning. Service was great as well, and our orders came out in a timely manner.

Awesome little cafe. Stop if you can! The special was the hot beef commercial was delicious. Carmel roll was fantastic, but make sure to get them before they are gone!

Great Experience! Best part is when ordering coffee they leave a little pot there for you so you never run out!! Food was also phenomenal! Can’t wait to come again!

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Eggs Benedict is a favorite, the pancakes are huge, and you can order anything on the menu any time of day!! Service is excellent. We meet friends there once a month.

This place is a hidden jewel!!!! Fabulous breakfast. I Eat here whenever I can and I’m in town. My fellow truckers, this place is delicious. Parking on side street for your rig. Top notch! I would give 100 stars if I could!!!!!

We ate here for the first time on sunday. Our server was Kayla she suggested the hot turkey and loaded hashbrown we got one of each!! our service was amazing our food was outstanding we will be back!

I love all day breakfast places... I love local restaurants with counter seating. I love smiles and prompt service from the wait staff... I love comfort food... What's not to like about this place... I grew up as a line cook at a Truck Stop in South Dakota, this place gives me the feels... I decided to go for the hot beef sandwich, it was delicious and not overly salted like most... It hit the spot on my brief layover... If your looking for a stop and rest... Choose this place

If you are within 100 miles of Little Oscars you have to stop. This place is like home, it's everything a real Midwest restaurant should be. I grew up in the Midwest and this place is a rare breed, it's not a chain and everything has that homemade/diner feel.
And if you go, get the hot sandwich. Trust me.

We are glad to see this place open and thriving. Will definitely be coming back to try more if these classic menu items.

I'm black so smaller down home restaurants can hit or miss in Minnesota... But HONEEEEYYY let me just say they remember my name/face and even when in pj's (I live/work 45 min away) they call me beautiful lol. The food is almost as good as mine☺😊 no but honestly it's worth the drive you can have the whole menu at 8am and IT'S GOOD!!!! The bacon is most definitely a little Oscar only ... Everything about them screams take my money! Let's not forget the GIANT portion sizes... Truly heaven sent

A very cozy and clean diner in Hampton! Today was my first time coming but the food was great, and the service was fantastic! I ordered the pecan roll, but because I was torn between the two, and they only had one left, the server also brought us the cinnamon roll to try which was a lovely touch. I also ordered the Loaded Hashbrowns with bacon and it was absolutely delicious. If you're ever in the area, this is the place to stop. I didn't try their coffee but I do recommend the hot chocolate as a nostalgic throwback.

Great diner style breakfast and good lunch items as well.
Don't forget to look at the daily specials! some of them are real winners!

Amazing breakfast I just love it here. If you're looking for old school diner with great food this is your spot! These loaded hasbrowns are to die for if that is your jam!
