This is a great Lebanese restaurant and my dining experience has been great. We had great service, the person who took our order was really helpful and friendly. The food is very good, it had fresh and top quality ingredients. I loved the stuffed pickles and Batata Harra. The Pistacho Baklava was the best I had ever had. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Will be returning to try other things on the menu.

I just stopped in for a quick lunch. The food, the atmosphere, the owner were all fantastic. This hidden gem made my day. I had the chicken shawarma lunch special. So good. It came with a garlic sauce that should be sold to customers as they are leaving. The meal was topped off with a phenomenal piece of pistachio baklava. It was my first time but definitely will not be my last.

We had a great Lebanese breakfast. Manakeesh Zaatar, Cheese and Meat and of course coffee. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

This is a local gem. The service is second to none and the food is authentic. I bring everyone here for every occasion. It's the perfect date spot but also wonderful with the whole family. I highly recommend.

This hidden gem is one of the most underated places in New Jersey, the food is a great authentic Lebanese, the atmosphere is warm and delightful, the owner/manager is as cultured as he's funny and accommodating.
Highly Recommend this place folks, and if you are vegetarian, this place is heaven for you.
Don't forget the coffee at the end of your meal, it is a whole different level.

If you're looking for delicious authentic Lebanese food this is the spot. The food is beyond delicious and the service is very attentive. Definitely leave room for dessert even if you have to share it. I wish I captured more pictures to share however we were so excited to eat. Don't skip this place you're truly missing out if you do.

Baroot is a family run restaurant that serves authentic and fresh Lebanese home made cuisine. The owner is warm and welcoming. We had the Cheese Rkakat as an appetizer which was very good! For entrees we had the lamb and chicken kebab platters. The lamb and chicken kebabs were tender and had an amazing Lebanese flavor! Both were DELICIOUS with the lamb kebab being my favorite! They came with rice and well seasoned vegetables. For dessert I had wanted to order rice pudding, but they were out of it. I ended up getting the baklava which was so good! I prefer mine with more honey which makes it more sweet, but it still was so delicious! I highly recommend dining at Bayroot in Shrewsbury!

Loved the food , home cooked healthy style great vegetarian dishes but best part was Maher. He was so kind welcoming. Thank you to the owner. Looking forward to going back soon.

The staff were very friendly and nice with us. . The food was amazing. We had mad grilled kebab and it was as we expected. Also the small mixed appetizer was enough for two. They gave us nice desserts on the House and it was great.

What a lovely experience Bayroot was. The restaurant is spacious and clean and the food was hands down the best Lebanese food I've had in the area.

The beef shawarma platter was very good and the beef was seasoned very well sand quite authentic in flavor. As someone stationed in the middle east for many years, I feel comfortable in making this statement.

The mint tea was delightful, not sweetened, but very strong and minty. Delightful.

Best of all, much is to be said about the owner who was very friendly and attentive and a true entrepreneur who appreciates and takes care of his customers.

Unfortunately, I was so excited to eat here that I only got a picture is the appetizer and forgot to do the rest!!!

Bayroot has super authentic Lebanese food, specializing in just that. No mixing other cuisines, just straight up legit Lebanese food. Owner was a delight to talk to, we talked food, travel and the importance of both in a well rounded life. Great place, great food, great owner!

This place never disappoints and I highly recommend this hidden gem. Food is always fresh, and every bite of every dish is amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, cozy, and the service is superb. The owner Maher and his family are very attentive, caring and a pleasure to speak with! While the grilled meat platter, tabouli salad and hummus are my favorites- everything on the menu is perfection - including the desserts!!
