I've been visiting Jolene for my haircuts for a few years now and I cannot recommend her enough. Her superb attention to detail is unmatched. If you're looking for a hairstylist who will listen to your needs and exceed your expectations, look no further.

I moved to this area 10 years ago and since then I been using this place. Extremely professional and thorough cut. Mostly manual scissors cut like old school style, Jolene takes note of all your requests and does a fantastic job. Hot shave at the end is awesome. When my dad visited me and needed a haircut I took him here. He is a rather picky when he chooses a hairstylist, but he loved this place. Now my son doesn’t want kids cut anymore and so I took him here and he loved it as well. Three generations and one choice, pure perfection.😊

I've been coming to Appearances for Men for over twenty years. Jolene is outstanding. She's precise, detailed, and consistent. I've never been to a stylist that was so reliable and consistent. She's truly a master in her field.

Very professional! Did an excellent cut, mustache trim, eyebrow trim, neck shave. Reasonable rates and easy to get an appointment! Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed my time with Jolene. Her experience and approach to a first time customer who had fallen prey to running to a franchise store whenever I had a few minutes to fit in a haircut was such a welcome, enjoyable and relaxing change that I now realize I had missed tremendously. Great place highly recommend. My son had an issue with his hair from another salon. The owner got him in right away helped him out took the time to show him how to make the best of it. Very nice. Very knowledgeable knew her stuff. Will definitely be taking him there again.

Finally a great haircut! I was so tired of the chains and the $50 salon cut wasn't much better (shocker). THIS was what I was looking for. Jolene takes her time and works with you, no quick cut and kick out the door here. Very clean and comfortable. Booked my next appointment while I was there :)

She has created a relaxed atmosphere, with good music, professional business setting with no pressure. If you want conversation, she has it, if not no problem, just sit back and relax. After years of going to the same barber I finally decided to 'switch it up' and try Appearances for Men. I am glad that I did! Jolene is an experienced men's hair specialist, and I received an outstanding haircut. Highly recommended.

Great place to go guys! Very relaxing professional atmosphere. I used to work in the twin office building next door to Appearances, so the convenience of slipping out for a bit to get a haircut was awesome. I no longer work in the building next door, but always take the trip in to see Jolene, because there is no better place to go!!! Stop by and check it out!

Best place to get a haircut in South Jersey.

I first started going to Appearances when I worked in the area over 25 years ago. For the past 15 years, I have driven 80 miles RT (plus tolls) to have my hair cut. I now time my trips up from Hilton Head, SC to visit Jolene. All I know is that she must be doing something right!
