Our prime rib dinner special included a fabulous soup & salad bar, prime rib, bread, baked potato and caramel chocolate tres leche. What a great meal in a warm friendly diner.

I had the breakfast burrito. It was huge!! Very tasty. My wife had the country breakfast with toast, bacon, eggs and hash browns. Very generous portions and the food was awesome!! Great stop for any meal!! Staff very friendly!

A down-home cafe with good food and a great waitress! We stopped after getting gas at a very busy gas station -- and it must be in town just enough that it was not busy at all when we arrived, so that made for a relaxing stop. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful.

Great food. Very clean. Great Service. Soup and Salad bar available. Server was wonderful. We got the Spanish and Hobo breakfast scrambles. Bread was really good.

Came in here for a quick bite while we we're charging our car, service was good and the food was quick and delicious. The fry bread was excellent, my son really loved his Indian taco!

We drove from WA state to NY and ate at lots of places along the way. This stop was the BEST! We randomly pulled in here for lunch one of the days of long driving. I got the flatbread taco and we got pie for dessert. It was delicious! Everyone was so nice. The food was fresh. 10/10 would eat here again!

While heading towards our destination, Custer, we halted here for breakfast. It’s a decent restaurant with nice quick service. We ordered 1 veggie omelette and a wrap along with regular coffee. Ambience was good, they also had small shopping section with lots of ladies bags. Food was very delicious, we just loved it. Awesome restaurant for breakfast.

We were driving through on our way to Minnesota from a weekend in the Black Hills and decided to make a quick stop to eat. We walked in as they were getting ready to close and still let us in. We were very thankful :)
We ordered 3 bacon cheeseburgers with fries, one with fried onions and our son ordered a chocolate chip pancake. The burgers were amazing!! Our fries were equally as good. Our son said his pancake was really good as well.
Clean establishment and friendly young staff that were working hard. Cute restaurant!

I find that non-franchised restaurants are almost better than chain-store eating establishments. This goes double fr the Star Family Restaurant! The stuffed hash-browns were excellent ( I highly recommend them ) & the staff are courteous & friendly. Three thumbs up!

Great service and hometown feel. Fed my kids 3 and 4) and myself breakfast with the stuffed hash browns and a tall stack of pan cakes. We split a cinnamon roll. God's place to see.

Such a hometown feel they had a pair rollerblades for sale at the register. So awesome!

What a tremendous little diner! We're so glad we came out here with the kids. Great food (really impressive!), Fantastic service, and a value not to be matched. It's worth the sight trip up the road from the interstate.

On a family road trip, stopped at this place because we saw a billboard and it was WELL worth it. Everyone in our party agreed their food was very good and staff were all so nice! The restaurant was very clean and friendly as well. Highly recommend this place.

Food came out fast and hot and everything tasted great. I had a scramble and wife had the country breakfast. My scramble had lots of sausage, peppers and onions in it and the hash browns were crispy just like I like them. Her eggs were perfect and bacon was super tasty. Heck, even the toast was good. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

Perfect place to stop on the long drive through South Dakota on I90. Service was great and the breakfast burritos were good. The building and decor are a blast from the past.

Great croissant sandwich with ham! Nice little family restaurant.

I ordered the chicken and waffle. Waffle was huge, chicken was very well seasoned and crunchy. My partner ordered the mushroom Swiss and fries. Both were very good, spent less than $30 for both our meals.

This is a great family restaurant with home-cooked American food. Breakfast anytime. Fresh salads. Extremely friendly, local servers. I very highly recommend it

My husband is extremely picky about his coffee and he rarely compliments it. He said it was outstanding coffee! Our lovely server apologized that the first cup might have been 20 minutes old (the cup he raved about) and brewed a fresh pot for him. He said both cups were wonderful. I had the loaded hash browns and he had the burrito and both were great! Do not sleep on this darling diner!

We stopped in on route to Badlands and loved our food! All day breakfast. Service was quick. The people were friendly. Such a cute mid century diner!

Amazingly friendly service, farm fresh eggs, the best biscuits and gravy my dad has ever had, and unbeatable prices! We're very happy we stopped here for breakfast.
