Log Country Inn Bed & Breakfast of Ithaca

I stumbled on this bed and breakfast when I was looking to stay in the area last minute. What a gem! It's pet friendly and I left my dog off leash to roam. She loved how much room she had and so did I! Wanda was wonderful, showing me everything on property and making me feel welcome. Breakfast was also amazing. I am definitely coming back! Wanda gave me recommendations for hiking, like where to go, which entrance, where to park, and which trail to take. Her advice was sound and we had a great time! This is one of those places I will come back to any chance I get. Do not hesitate, this was the best find! I travel a lot, I've been to 99 countries so far and this is in my top 5 favorite places to stay. Cannot recommend it enough.

I spent a wonderful weekend with some friends. I loved the inn and its surroundings. Charming, clean, welcoming etc. I could not have asked for a better place. Wanda and Sarah who run the place were excellent hosts. It was a pleasure to meet both of them and they were very helpful with giving information about the area. The breakfast both days was great and Wanda even accommodated some of my food intolerances. Overall it was an excellent stay and I highly recommend this place. I will probably try to go back soon!

I grew up down the road from the Inn, you may pass my childhood home on your way there. Sarah was one of my closest friends growing up and I spent many days and nights at the inn and have some of my best core memories there. I knew when I got engaged I wanted to somehow to have my wedding party stay at a place I hold so dear to my heart, but the main house wasn't rebuilt yet. In the best timing, the main house opened this spring and there would be enough rooms for my wedding party!

The new main house is beyond STUNNING! I stayed in the balcony room and it is so beautiful and the tub is amazing! All of our friends who stayed there had a great time, it was the perfect way to spend time with my wedding party and support a friend's business. Plus everyone could finally experience their amazing breakfast. I love Wanda and Sarah so much and if you want a charming stay that feels cozy, like home, in a beautiful country setting, with the friendliest hosts, I could not recommend this place more!

I booked one night for a trip to Ithaca based on the positive reviews. As soon as I stepped in the property, I asked Wanda extend my stay for one more day. My room is very clean and design is very chic. Rest room is interesting and comfortable to sitting there lol.
Wanda had very good taste for internal design, I loved every details in my room. I have two dogs and Wanda invited them to the living area.
I wasn’t feel easy for B&B but Wanda’s place is much better than Holiday Inn, in my opinion. If I have a vacation home on my own, it wouldn’t be better.
I am looking forward to revisit during summer and fall. Thank you Wanda for making your place a home for every one.

Stay was wonderful and beyond expectations. Wanda is a wonderful host and breakfast was terrific. We could not find any hotel reservations for family weekend at Cornell which was likely for the best because otherwise we would have not discovered this B&B. I would highly recommend this business.We will undoubtedly be back at the inn.

Wow what a great place to stay when visiting the Finger Lakes Ithaca area. Could not have been happier with the hospitality and especially the dog friendly grounds! The breakfasts and convos with the hosts were great. There are many different options on the property of rooms to stay, whether you want a full kitchen or a bnb room in the lodge. My mom and I shared the Japanese suite which was a perfect 2br for our needs, complete with a large balcony. Can’t wait to plan the next trip and bring the hubby!

This is the cutest, coziest bed & breakfast I've ever seen! The family is very warm, friendly, and fun to talk to. My friend and I greatly enjoyed our time here and were pretty excited when we had to stay an extra night due to a blizzard. It really felt like home. It was very clean and comfy! We adored the Polish room with the jacuzzi. Great European feel! Also, the food was delicious!

This is the most enchanting place to visit and spend time. You will never regret meeting the owner and family, tasting the best ethnic cuisine and loving the property. I have spent each season there for wonderful visits, filled with excitement, relaxation and an escape from whatever stressors life has entered your life. A perfect location, a lovely get-away, a more wonderful owner and family who spoils the visitor with delicious dishes. I truly loved everything about this place and I stayed at different rooms, enjoying the culture of each.

We have now stayed with Wanda three times with our family, including toddlers and teenagers. Everyone loves it there. Including our small dog. While we were there, a family was arranging to rent the Welcome House for graduation weekend and their college daughter asked to have a graduation party there for herself and her three friends. We have been visiting Ithaca for over 20 years, and used to live there. Wanda is a welcoming host, serves a terrific breakfast, and provides a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed with Wanda for two nights and it was absolutely magnificent! It was a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Her breakfast is amazing and most importantly it feels like a family meal.

Highly recommended!! It's a tad of a drive but so worth it. Wanda makes you feel so at home & makes Incredible breakfasts. She has all the guests gather & it's really heart felt to hear their 'returning' stories. After breakfast you can hike the trails near the cabin or make sure you take a stroll thru her tranquil backyard 💙

Our new favorite bed and breakfast! Located in a very quiet and relaxing area outside of Ithica. A bit of a drive but worth every mile. We did get lost a few times.The inn is charming, clean, and provides great wi-fi.
Highlight is the genuine warmth and welcoming environment we felt while visiting Wanda (owner) in her home.
We felt so comfortable because of her hospitality, and the breakfasts were delicious.
We also enjoyed the stimulating conversations with Wanda and the other guests. It was so enjoyable.
We can't wait to revisit Log Country Inn, Wanda, and her family.

This is the most beautiful Inn I have ever seen. Very well priced, amazing location and the Jacuzzi is terrified. The hostess Wanda and her family are very welcoming. Amazing level of cleanliness. Absolutely recommend even for a night out to just relax.

We love the place! The owners are so incredibly nice and the breakfasts are unbelievable. So delicious. We stayed in the Russian Suite and overall it is a great accommodation. The jacuzzi tub has an extendable head which is the only way to shower, which takes some getting used to. I'm not particularly tall (5'9") and it wouldn't extend above my head. The water is also very sulfuric! That is a trait of the region, However, and you get used to it. I'd definitely come back!

I love this place. Hosts are wonderful. Food is delicious and the location is so peaceful.

Just stayed there for Indigenous Weekend with friends and we had a great time!! It’s cozy, beautiful and Wanda and her daughter are such great host that really take care of us and our every need. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow, the Log Country Inn was Amazing!!!! How can we ever thank Wanda for her loving hospitality, delectable breakfasts, stimulating conversation and cozy accommodations?! In fact, the only thing we didn't like about the Log Country Inn is that we had to leave (temporarily). We already miss it there and the friendly environment she created for our little Liebchen (our dog), yet we have already begun to plan our next visit to this little piece of heaven she has cultivated. Liebchen even appeared saddened by our departure as we prepared her for one last walk down the beautiful country road before our departure for the airport. We look forward to visiting the Log Country Inn family (including Zuke & Olive) again very soon!

Such a cozy place with an amazing and comfortable feel to it. It's a perfect getaway from town and a great location. The service is excellent, Wanda is so kind and an amazing cook!! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cozy place to stay.

Amazing time! The grounds are fablous. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is out of this world!
