The Scheppard’s Hook Motel

It was an absolutely wonderful stay as the rooms were clean, updated, and perfect for a long weekend away. The hosts are wonderful people and take such pride in this motel! Rented 3 rooms during the stay and all were just what we needed for some time on Lake Ontario. Very close to the lake, some great local restaurants, and amazing fishing!

The couple that owns this motel are super nice people, thank you for having such an amazing place to reset! The rooms are very well priced, super clean, tv, fridge, and the beds are awesome to sleep in!!!! Thank you for opening me up at room at last minute, I appreciate you!

Ed and Lenore are the nicest hosts, and it's a convenient location for the beaches of Lake Ontario 😀

Just finished a week up here and stayed with these wonderful people. I dont even know how to begin, but let me say, they will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is top notch! It's your typical mom and pop motel, but let me tell ya, Ed has put his heart and soul into making a bunk house with custom wood work! Such an "at home feeling" the whole time.And I think to top it all off their little pup barley was a joy to play fetch with daily! Will definitely be returning!

We start in one of there rooms very clean. Yes, no TV, but such a sweet place it was nice to just relax and actually talk to your significant other. Will go back. We also go for their meals as they are delicious. Everyone at the Scheppard's Hook treat you like you are family. Love it❣

This is the second time I've stayed here. Very satisfied with the room .the owners are super nice people.this is my go to place when I come up north to fish.will definitely stay here again.

Can't ask for a better place or staff! Currently on a 2 week stay and highly recommend this place. Not many rooms so make your reservations early.

We went to the diner for lunch the other day and we loved it. The food was fantastic, the portions were big, prices were reasonable. The owner even came out to see if we needed anything. We had stopped by a different cafe and they were closing for the day and they actually recommended this place, and we thought it was great.

The decorating is hunting and fishing. The food is good, served hot and quite filling. Everyone is friendly and we got to talk to the owner. Will go back.
