The Willow Restaurant

I've only visited a few times now, but i must say, I've really enjoyed my meals here. I think they're onion rings are unbeatable. The best I've had! 🤔Of the meals I've had here I would say the Prime Rib stands above the rest. And the service has been remarkable! The staff seems delighted to be there which is refreshing considering my recent visits to many of the chain restaurants. So far I've always been too full for dessert, but next time I think I must try the Homemade pies. I hear they are delicious.🤤

The Willow is a lovely establishment! It has it all! The atmosphere was perfect. The servers, ours was Mike, were the friendliest I have encountered in a long time. The food was delicious and fast to arrive. This was a great experience, start to finish!

First off, the parking lot and landscaping were clean and manicured. Cute decor. Lots of “old people” inside at lunch time (often the sign of a good restaurant!), but our food and service were excellent. We don’t have any restaurants that serve fried chicken livers (I know! Some people think they’re gross), and they were amazing. Lightly breaded, hot, not over cooked or dry. Baked potato was also cooked perfectly. My daughter had the chicken and noodles and they were steamy hot and just the way she likes them! The rolls were just store bought, so pass on those. The salad was just head lettuce, but it was fresh and the house dressing was good. Our server was delightful. She was pleasant and friendly, and the timing of the food delivery was top notch. We had to drive 45 minutes to get there, but I would go back for sure. You should give it a try if you like small town/homemade cooking. Oh, and the peanut butter pie is very good too!

We went for the prime rib offered after 4 PM Friday and Saturday and I was not disappointed! I had the king cut as seen in the photo and it was cooked right and delicious. My date had the grilled chicken which I found alright.
The banana Cream pie was excellent!
The tossed salad was fresh but a slight down grade for using Marzetti packages blue cheese dressing instead of making a superior one in house.
A plus that they had both ground horseradish and a sauce for the prime rib!
We arrived right at 4, parked near the entrance and were seated immediately and service was prompt and excellent. When we were leaving (5ish) the place was full with people waiting and the parking lot packed.
They warn us that when the prime rib is gone for the evening it’s gone so go early. It’s wonderful to find a restaurant still offering this special cut of meat, properly prepared! I’ll be back!
The property is clean and comfortable but no pompous frills or excesses. The tables are close together but still adequate spaced.

Great food, fantastic service and a special treat ((😍thx a million)) for my daughter named Willow. Absolutely recommend and will be back when in the area. I had the homemade chicken & noodles and it was delish!

My husband and I visited on a Thursday and got the fried chicken special. The chicken was fantastic, and the price was great -- a large breast, thigh and leg for $10.99! The sides and roll were a bit lacking. Overall, we had a great meal, and it was served fast.

This place was awesome!! beautiful little restaurant, very polite and attentive staff, and the food was out of this world. We had the special for the day which was baked spaghetti, salad and garlic toast. Then we had a slice of blackberry pit and OMG it was some of the best pie I have ever eaten. All home made. best rust ever.

Was a pleasant change for the restaurants in the area not a whole lot to choose from other than fast food had the prime rib dinner which was done perfectly also had the willow chips they're homemade potato chips with beer cheese bacon and blue cheese crumbles on it would definitely order that again

We came here for the first time. I got the NY Strip & my husband got the chicken tenders. We WERE NOT disappointed. It was hands down the best steak & chicken tenders we’ve ever had. The steak just melted in your mouth. Our waitress was super nice & friendly. We got the peanut butter pie for dessert and it was phenomenal. 10/10 recommended and I wish I could give this place more that 5 stars.

My favorite spot in Washington Courthouse to eat. Make the hour long trip several times a month just for the food. Picture a Bob Evans only 10 times better. Home made pies baked fresh every morning. I have had the fish, the ribs, the spaghetti, the fried chicken, the Baked Steak. Most recently I had Turkey with dressing and it was fantastic.

Great place to eat. Food very good. Prime rib sandwich and french onion soup are exceptional. Good tasty homemade pies!

We were on a day trip and my wife found this place. Everything about this place was fantastic! The food was great, we had the perch and chicken livers and both were super tasty!! Great diner atmosphere and good service. We would definitely go back for seconds!

Love their baked steak and fried chicken. The banana cream pie is out of this world good. One of my very favorite restaurants. Well worth the trip.

Local high quality food like an Ohio born mom would make. Great staff, salad bar is nice to add to a meal. The place is a bit small, so expect a wait, it's worth it. The chicken and steak are exceptional. Buffet from 11-3 on Sunday is worth a drive! Locally owned and operated.
Update: After the covid pandemic there is no longer a buffet, and it doesn't seem as if it will be returning. Food is still excellent. Service is great. And you can expect a wait on weekends.

Traveling thru southern Ohio and got a recommendation from a local for dinner on a Thursday evening. Tried The Willow in Washington Court House and it did NOT disappoint. The specials were fried chicken dinner or baked steak. We got one of each and OH MY GOODNESS! Soooooo good. The chicken breading was light and crunchy and very tasty and the baked steak melted in your mouth. Came with mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables and homemade rolls. Their specialty seems to be their homemade desserts, so of course we had to try them. The coconut cream pie with 3 inches of meringue was out of this world! No shortage of staff. Everyone was efficient and super friendly. The town was doing their trick or treating and the Willow was even handing out candy to the littles. Highly recommend for a great home-cooked meal and fantastic dessert. Oh and the sweet tea is brewed and perfect! Two dinners, two drinks and two desserts - $35. Can’t beat that!
