Fort Getty Park

Visited here in the winter. The porta potty was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking at this time of year by the picnic tables. There is a nice hill with benches that then leads to the shore. It was very peaceful to walk alongside the water around the tip. Many stones and driftwood but actually clean. I came looking for sea glass but there wasn't much. Many wishing stones to be found on this coast! Dogs are also allowed but during busy/warmer seasons must be on leashes according to the signs.

Fort Getty is a great place to fish and camp. There’s an area for RVs and Tents. There is also a Pavilion for private events. Reservations required for all. The bathrooms are very very clean. Gorgeous open areas with benches. I like to go hear regularly. You can fish off the rocks. Sturdy shoes are a must.

Very pretty area! Clean, neat, scenic. Great place to park, then ride your bike around the island.

What an wonderful park full of amazing views, imposing stone walls, old artillery, wildlife and an all around beautiful place to go for a walk and explore.

Wonderful location and view next to the bay. Town run so reasonable pricing the Pavilion is large 100 people (pre Covid) not a problem. Has roll down sides if the weather becomes inclement.

Stella Tunes provided music for a wedding. Grounds are beautiful, view is perfect, staff are very helpful.

Perfect venue for an outdoor summer beach wedding. We had the ceremony on the hill overlooking the ocean and were blessed with great weather and sailboats in the background. The grass area provided the perfect place for lawn games. Pavilion was much bigger than what we needed. The sides come down which helped deter the wind. Unfortunately we had some bad luck with the bathrooms as the women's restroom was not working for the duration of our event.

Nice big open field. There are two very small trail that the lighthouse can be seen from. There is a big shelter. Great place for picnic. There is also two restrooms. It is close during winter.

This is a beautiful Historical Park with ocean beaches located in Rhode Island

A wonderful pavilion by the water. Nice to walk the fields and rocky beach with great views.

This was a perfect venue for a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner. Pavilion was perfect even when it rained a bit. It was a beautiful canvas for fresh flowers, table runners and a buffet of delicious foods. The absolute best was best able to go out to the beach area for pictures and to witness an amazing sunset 🌇. Convenient, plenty of parking... great venue!

Definitely the Best Rv park in Rhode Island!!! The staff is excellent!! Seasonal campers are friendly and help each other out!!!

This is one of RI best places. The Views are all stunning, edge near water the waves gently relax you. You feel Whole.

Jamestown Island is a Great Place To
Experience. Most never get to see any coast lines,especially Islands. Such a Beautiful Place on this Our Earth😀

Great place to spend the day even if not camping. Fishing on pier, cheap boat launch, lots of nature and wild surf . Beautiful wild rose fields.

Daughter's wedding was just amazing, definitely her asthetic that will be captured in photos. Thank you to all help make her dream wedding come true.

GREAT RV campground on the southern tip of Conanicut Island (Jamestown). People go all out in setting up their mobile palaces for a period of time. Seems to be a lot of comradery there. Lovely views, lovely Rhode Island!

Went there for a company outing and was amazed. Very relaxing and wonderful views. Great for photographs and just relaxing by the water with stunning views.
