Mystic Cafe

Highly recommend stopping here any time of day! I stopped in for breakfast and had a caramel macchiato which was absolutely amazing! I ordered the garbage potatoes with the gravy added and my eggs sunny side up....by far the best garbage plate EVER!!! Everything was cooked to perfection....and the flavors!!!!! I am just passing through, stayed at a local hotel overnight but really wanted some coffee on my way out and Mystic Cafe was only a few blocks away so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm currently trying to decide if I should hang around until 11 so I can get their grilled cheese for the road!
Please do not pass this place up if you are in town....even just driving through, make the stop!!!!
Food is amazing, service is amazing, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating!

We've had breakfast, lunch & dinner here. The service is always good & the food is always tasty. The style & decor is pretty cool. My wife had a great caramel macchiato yesterday. I had the Cuban sandwich & it was great. She had the California BLT & it was pretty good. Prices are average for the area. We got there about 10:50 on a Saturday morning. By the time we got sat down & saw the menus, we discovered that breakfast stops at 10:45am on Saturdays. That was a little disappointing, my wife was wanting breakfast. That's really my only gripe which would not have been an issue if we looked at their website. We assumed. Nevertheless, Mystic is a great local gem

Great coffee, had mine black and being a coffee snob, can safely say they brew a fine cup. I imagine the full espresso offerings are just as good. We had the waffle and chicken fried steak. Both entries made it to the clean plate club.

Excellent juicy burger cooked to perfection, tasty, crispy shoe string fries. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. Wonderful atmosphere. Good selection of beer and wine. Reasonable prices. Great place for a leisurely lunch.

We had a great waitress. Very kind to us 5 elders. Thank you for the experience. Would suggest that if a customer shares a plate that they are offered an extra plate though. Even if you charge a little for it. We were 1st timers and will be back when we are down south again.

What a beautiful place, with very friendly service. They have both a walk up coffee bar and full breakfast and lunch menu. Full of old wood, and colorful images. Definitely an eye feast. The food was a bit standard, but came quickly and hit the spot. I'd go back when next in town.

Great menu! I eat here about once a month and never disappointed. There was a live musician playing during my last visit. Very enjoyable!

We had a summer berry salad with goat cheese cashews and citrus vinaigrette, we added salmon or shrimp. The salad was light and delicious. A mark in the annuals of a wonderful meal. We also had a red curry soup that just touched the edge of spice and sweet without going too far in either direction.

Such an awesome place to get espresso or latte and delicious food! They have many great food options. I also love the mystic vibe. Highly recommended to check out this place when in town. The lobster sandwich is a hit!

Their lunch menu also includes their dinner menu items, so I tried the Chicken Tortellini with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms and a bowl of their always excellent Thai coconut red curry soup. What a tasting explosion. Fantastic!

The food here is very good, a tad bit spendy for what it is but the customer service is great and so is the atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch are my favorite meals here, but dinner is also good. Great place to enjoy any meal.

The food was great, the staff were friendly and competent and the setting was eclectic. I enjoyed it very much!

Okay, this is just crazy ... Was starving while getting into town and it was early in the morning. Nothing open. I actually took some wrong turns and ended up staring at the Mystic. It was destiny!
Food, staff, atmosphere and service was impeccable. Threw a star on the map too.
The atmosphere is super cool.
Food came out super quick and looked appetizing and hot.

My wife and I are from out of town and are on bicycles. The manager let us bring them in! We both had a deluxe burger which was delish... Followed up with a wonderful latte. Our waitress Jhensi was delightful..

The atmosphere was fabulous. I loved the old barn wood floors and walls. The restaurant was super clean. The service was not great, but it was not horrible either. The dinner menu was small,, I would have liked to have had more choices.. (the lunch menus is much bigger) that burger though! That was spectacular! I got the hot California burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The meat was super fresh and tasted great. Topped with fresh avocado and tomato. The flavors came together perfectly. I will come back at lunchtime to experience some of the lunch menu items.

First time and I loved it they frys were not for me but the burger with the huckleberry bbq was bomb and so was the turkey melt

I have to re- edit this to a prior status of "full wonderfulness". After a posting on a less than exceptional experience there has been an immediate and more than reasonable response to investigate and explain the problem experienced and report corrective measures (7 stars out of 5 for this place in service 'beyond the table'). I have faith that I can fully endorse a great dining experience here. Details to follow after I return there in the future😁

Ideal setting for meals and coffee. The train depot's renovation is fun and eclectic. I would recommend for first meetings.

I was recommended Mystic Café and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere of this restaurant is fun, and rustic. It has an old western and mountain lodge feel to it. For lunch, I had the Mystic Deluxe Burger with a side of tomato basil soup. My wife had the lobster roll with the rosemary fries. I too had the rosemary fries, they were to die for. If you find yourself in the Lewiston area, I highly recommend you stop in for lunch. The prices are great and the staff is outstanding!

Absolutely fantastic place. Great atmosphere and service. Garbage potatoes for breakfast are outstanding. Definitely recommend it for a meal.
