California Inn Hotel and Suites

5/5. Perfect for a traveler. Rated 5 not because it has a fake marble lobby (it doesn't). Not because it has a great breakfast (it doesn't). Not because it has a high archway entrance (it doesn't). Rated 5 because the 1) rooms were large enough to be comfortable, 2) room was immaculately clean, 3) all the appliances worked, 4) the bed was cozy, and 5) service was great. A hudband and wife manage the motel. They are friendly and responsive. On all my future trips to Adelanto, I'll be staying there.

Good place for the money. The only downside is they don't have a hot shower and the water running warm. I like hot shower after long trip.

I can't rave enough about this Inn. It was the best lodging we had during a two week road trip from Oregon to San Diego California, and back to Oregon again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, on the delightfully laid back side, and the grounds including the pool were maintained well. The staff, the best customer service in the state. We really did not want to leave even though it was 107 wicked hot. The room and the pool were a wonderful haven for weary road travelers. p.s. I fell in love with Barstow and if you go make a night for their Drive-In Movie Theater.

Really great experience. We were traveling with 2 kids and an infant. After being told no from the hotel next door our faith was slim at this hotel having a room. Not only did they have a room, the manager was as sweet as could be. She welcomed us with open arms and took care in making sure our room was super clean. We are traveling from LA to Central California . It's nice to take a break at a quiet , clean hotel with great people taking care of you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We'll be back. :)

Wonderful and caring staff eager to meet any need. Rooms are clean and the beds are actually comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in their hotel.

My non-smoking room was clean and just what a needed for a good night's rest. The direct TV had a lot of channels to choose from. The queen size bed was comfortable and had a lot of pillows. There was complementary coffee, soap and shampoo with a lot of clean towels.

I forgot my cell phone in my room and the owner found it and packaged it very nicely and helped me have fedex return it as I had already left town. It’s rare for people to go above and beyond. Thank you!

We came in late, Got our room quickly! It was clean, neat and quiet! We will probably stop here on our way back home! We had no issues at all!

Very good experience, clean and safe. I arrived out of the blue, and was treated fairly, and with kindness and respect. The room was just fine.
