This is some of the best food in the city! Every item I have tried has been perfectly seasoned, affordable, huge, and delicious. This has quickly become my go to food stop in Santa Ana.

This location is cash only but they do have an ATM in the store.

This place is amazing the burritos cost 7 dollars and their so big the picture I posted is only half of it nobody can beat this price and flavor straight out their prices are soo cheap the best in OC

Atmosphere is what you should expect from a small family owned mexican food shop. The food is absolutely delicious though, I tried the beef burrito and it had the right balance of carne asada and rice and beans.
Keep in mind as of my visit they only accept cash! They have an ATM inside however, just keep that in mind if you don't want to pay an ATM fee. But it will be worth it to have some good authentic mexican food. If the long lines don't prove people love it, stop by yourself some time!

I tried their carne asada burrito and enjoyed it very much. The cashier was fast and she asked me what kind of salsa I would like, so nice!!

Excellent food. The tortas and fish tacos we didn't order looked even better. fantastic pastor and cabeza.

Food was great, my kids are tacos and enchiladas. I had 8 tacos different meat and i inhaled them. Wifey ate a burrito.... Loved it!!!!

Great taco joint. Had the pastor, asada, pollo and lengua, all delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the rest. And the price is unbeatable.

I've been eating at La Tapati for over 35 years and the food remains the same = Best fFavor and Quality Mexican Food I've had anywhere Period.
Burritos are the Largest to my knowledge in Orange 🍊 County Possibly !n So Cal.
The Quality and Flavor Are Incredible!

I put a 5 star because my folks like this place a lot but the tongue meat was smell and no good but they said was nothing wrong and the guy said he wasn’t going to change nothing no more put some 🧤 on before u grab the food and etc

Our Family has been eating at this place for about 35 years. When he was at the shack. I just wish they would keep it clean, sometimes it's really bad.

Santa Ana is loaded with places to buy tacos. I've had many. I can only speak for the places I've tried. I have to say their tacos were very good. Loaded with meat, tasty but not hot salsas and a good value. $1.35 each. I had the Chorizo, Asada and Carnitas. I couldn't tell you which was better because they were all super good. Will be back for sure to try the other choices.

This is a place where you can get some great tasting tacos. The place is open until 2am which it's a great spot for the people lat night wanting to get something to eat. I recommended this place for great tasting tacos.

I love this place. I have been going here most of life. If your into gressy food don't go and don't hate. This spot definitely hits home for me. My favorite is the Torta! Its smaller than most places but its packed with goodness! This is also one of the few places that I will eat lengua good everytime. The carnitas are very flavorful as well. The prices are also reasonable.

Their mexican food is honestly the best I have tried as fast food option with reasonable price.
They only accept cash payment which is annoying sometimes but the quality of food is worth the inconvenience

Open late and foods are great. I had their burrito and that one was super tasty. Definitely would come back multiple times. They only do cash so bring some with you.
