Dr. Chang's Dental

Dr. Chang’s office has been wonderful. They truly take the time to get to know their patients. They take their time explaining everything and never make you feel rushed. I have had LOTS of work done this past month, including 2 root canal and have had zero issues. Dr. Chang has a gentle approach, he is very knowledgeable and is happy to slow down and explain every detail. The office is clean and updated and has a very welcoming atmosphere.

I never thought I'd say I look forward to going to the dentist, but Dr. Chang has outdone himself. His gentle approach, clear, precise knowledge, close attention to detail and patient care is one of a kind. Not to mention, his colleagues and professional staff are equally excellent with what they do. From day one I've been offered a modern comfort with clean surroundings. The staff alone share a homey hospitality that has an unmatched attentiveness, while considering my needs at all times. I'm still amazed! Even down to the financials...thank you Daniela and Adriana! Whenever I see Maria she literally makes feels like we've been friends for years! I look forward to our visits. Oh, and don't get me started on Amber. She's payed such close attention, that she knew what I'd enjoy watching on the flat screen tv during my procedure. She literally knows what I like, and I loved that!!! 😍

Amber was the best!!! She made smile, laugh and feel comfortable. It was at ease in her caring and capable hands. Daniela and Victoria were super sweet, friendly with setting up my appointment, explaining my treatment and going over my Financials. Everyone was so kind, professional and gorgeous! 🥰 Never thought I'd ever look forward to going to the dentist until now.

Office is clean and organized, all staff are incredibly warm, friendly and efficient.
Toni, the hygienist provides excellent service. Did a thorough cleaning treatment
with gentle precaution.
Dr. Chang instantly makes you feel at ease.
Haven't had the best experience with past dentists over the years, so this was a welcome and refreshing change.

I've had work done by Toni, Dr. Chang, and Dr. Kim. They are all very prompt and cut right to the chase. It's a breeze to get in and out. I have very little discomfort after visiting, and the staff is really good at reminding you of upcoming appointments. Definitely the best dental office in town.

Dr. Kim and Dr.Change are amazing dentist. Coming from someone who does like going to dental appointments I have no issues coming here. I actually look forward to it. The whole office is just incredible. My whole family comes to this office and they also love coming. They are amazing with children too. Office is clean and they are great communicators.

They were all very polite and caring. Also are very up to date on their dental equipment. I would highly recommend them as your family dentist

I am an individual who, prior to this fall, has avoided seeing a dentist for something like fifteen years. Finally worked up the nerve and took the plunge, and I am GLAD I DID.

A few cleanings, a couple extractions, and more fillings than I can remember later, and my mouth is feeling pretty great. Doctors Chang, Kim, and Toni (there is at least one other doctor I saw during my time here, but I cannot remember her name, I am so sorry!) as well as their assistants and support staff have been phenomenal. Patient, friendly, and attentive care, and plenty informative when I've had questions - even basic ones like "how does flossing work?"

I've gone from feeling wild anxiety at the prospect of going to the dentist, to actually looking forward to my next visit.

I'd recommend these kind folks to anyone. From the first conversation up to the procedure i had done, I felt at ease with the choice I made to come here to get my teeth worked on. It's been years since I've been to the dentist, so I had to get two root canals. There was no pain at any time during the procedure. Dr Kim did incredible work in making sure I felt comfortable from beginning to end.

Each of the staff I've interacted with have been knowledgeable and patient with me. If you have any sort of anxiety or fears with the dentist, please make the choice in coming here. You won't regret it. I feel blessed to have found a long-term dentist and hope to come back for many years to come. Can't thank these people enough.

Our son Tristen was in a lot of pain on Thursday, no other dentist would take him in until Monday. Called Dr. Chang, they said bring him right over, took him in within a hour and removed 4 bad teeth. Set up interest free financing for 12 months. EXCELLENT People, Great Service. This was our first time there and we will always return. THANK YOU AGAIN !

Staff is very friendly. Dr. Kim and Toni, the Dental Hygienist, made me feel very at ease. Toni explained everything that was happening and did her best work during my appointment for a deep clean. Thank you for being so pleasant 😀

Very nice work. Dr Chang and his staff really put dental care into priority for patients always. I went there today and received the best dental treatment and service I had never received before anywhere else. My teeth been not treated properly by my last dentist for years and could not trust anyone after that.But now im very pleased to say I can’t wait to get my teeth fixed by Dr. Chang! I finally found the right dentist.

This was honestly the best dentist experience I have ever had. They make you feel so welcoming and comfortable. Everyone is so friendly I love it there! I’m super glad I came here and no where else!

I have been seen twice by Dr. Chang’s office now. The first being Monday for my initial exam and the second today for a crown prepping. I just recently moved to Barstow so I needed to find a new dentist. After a Google search and review research, I landed on Dr. Chang's practice. Best decision I’ve made out here so far!

Appts:
Scheduling an appt was quick and easy. I called, got the next available and came in. Scheduling follow ups are just as simple and they provide text message reminders.

The office:
Probably the cleanest and nicest dentist office I have been in so far! The waiting room is comfortable and inviting. The rooms are truly separated and have a door for privacy. Not like typical offices that are simply separated by cupboards and drawers. Everything is cleaned and freshly sanitized.

The staff:
Over the phone I was greeted by a warm and welcoming voice, attentive and very friendly. Entering the office I was greeted with the same positive energy. Smiles, greetings, and warm wishes! All very attentive and very knowledgeable in the practice and processes! Maria, my RDA for both visits is absolutely amazing! Very friendly, attentive, communicative, and has such a positive demeanor too. She makes you feel right at home. Dr. Kim was my dentist and he was also great! Took the time to explain everything in detail and answer my questions. Great hands that are highly skilled. He managed to make the numbing shot practically feel like nothing, best shot I’ve gotten by a dentist. He was very efficient in the procedure (I’m getting a crown) and I was done in less than an hour.

Perks:
THEY HAVE A COMFORT MENU! I was seated and given a menu with various items to make my visit as comfortable as possible! Never in my life did I think I would get such a welcome. I also received a welcome gift that is not your standard cheap novelties. Netflix in all rooms.

I 100% recommend this place to everyone! My family will all be going here.

Dr.Chang, Dr.Kim and the ENTIRE staff are amazing! I have high dentist anxiety and they have made every appointment comfortable and have never made me feel bad about my anxiousness, or what work I needed done. They genuinely care about their patients! My son has gone with me and they even interact with him and explain what the tools are for. I actually look forward to seeing them and no longer have sweaty palms when I’m driving there. I will never be able to thank them enough for their kindness and patience.

I went for the first time and I was nervous, after talking to one off the dental assistant she calmed me down and they explained everything to me in detail answered any questions I had. They gave me their dental plan and what my different options were.

First time at Dr. Chang’s and I felt so welcomed. Everyone there is so nice, friendly and informative. Victoria took my x rays and is the sweetest!! I love that she’s talkative and friendly. I can tell she loves her job. My it’s a professional environment. I’m glad I went to Dr. Chang’s office.
