El Cabrito

El Cabrito offers the good deal on barbacoa tacos. I get them enchilados (i.e. tortilla dipped in enchilada sauce). You have to get it with conzume which is a delicious soup goes great with tacos. You probably don't want to get there too late cause parkings a disaster.

Recommended by a friend. Incredible food. Fresh and really tasty. I had Goat tacos and they were tender and perfectly seasoned. Wish I lived closer!

I have been going here for over 10 years. I love it, always authentic, la doña still works there and takes care of her customers. It's always a 5 star experience when it comes to their quality. I do miss the tortillas doradas that does hurt, but not enough to lower the rating.... but still, bring them back porfis.

Every time I eat here everything is made Fresh to order all the time and Resonable prices. . . Hands down the tomatillo Salsa they have is perfect. If U can’t really have spicy stuff this one a good choice. I drench my tacos in it and my Torta.. The dark red one is spicy but if u like hot and spicy that one is a good choice. My husband loves it we drive over an hour just to eat here.. The orange drink and the pineapple drink omg.. I get a large and it’s super Large. Everything is freshly made.. worth it... worth it with it..

Amazing food, local Santa Ana family owned, fresh, authentic, delicious. You have to try the Birria, house specialty. Carne asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Chorizo tacos are also great options.

Best birria tacos In Orange County. They have variety of cuts of meet. Come early because parking spots are limited and el cabrito is always popping specially weekends.

Best barbacoa and cabrito that we've tasted in California. Just like in Mexico! Even the chapurrado is exactly like abuelitas. Only outdoor patio style.seating, so make sure to bring a jacket. Parking is very limited, but street parking is available. Even with all those complications, it's definitely worth it!

I got a wet burrito and two carne asada tacos, both were amazing I have come back and highly recommend this place.

The birria and barbacoa tacos are so yummy. Get there early because the parking is limited so it gets really crowded. Service is pretty fast.

Excellent Birria

When in Rome... I mean, Santa Ana have some cabrito and make sure you get the consome (cone-so-meh). Great spot to eat after a round at Willowick or Mile Square.
