Burritos La Palma

As advertised by Jonathan Gold and Michelin, these burritos are small but packed with flavor. The staff here was friendly to help select the burritos that would fill anyone's taste palate. Sadly can't dine in but able to make orders to go and enjoy at home.

This place is a gem. Handmade flour tortillas with the simplest stews just like grandma made them always hit the spot. The chicharrón burrito is full of flavor with just the right amount of heat to make you wanna continue eating more. The birria, bean and cheese burrito is hands down the best though. So much goodness packed into a fluffy and flavorful tortilla that 1 just isn’t enough. You definitely gotta check this place out.

These little burritos don't look like much, and they are very simple... And they are absolutely amazing. My favorite burritos. The tortillas are perfect. Also, the burrito keeps decently well. I saved a Birria burrito and ate it two days later- still delicious after 90 seconds in the microwave. I was worried it would be too soggy.

Far more authentic, more savory flavors than you can get in the Mexican chains and mainstream restaurants. Really glad I gave this a chance. Atmospehre is unpretentious, but I take this as a sign they don't need to advertise as their food speaks for itself.

Ok .. so we dove all the way from south county SD ... We saw this place in one of the worth it you tube videos .. we love and are picky about our bean and cheese burrito and this place has it all. They are smaller than the normal California burrito size and I have to say I love that.. gives you the room to try different kinds.

A good bean and cheese burrito is indicative of a place that really focuses on the quality of their menu. And Burritos La Palma does a great job of making this item rich and flavorful, just as it would be in Mexico.

Super delicious. The quality of the tortillas and fillings is top flight. No dine-in for now, so I ate in my car. They take CC. Will return again!

Thanks to the foodies on TikTok we gave this place a try and it's a MUST if you're craving burritos. These aren't like the giant, super stuffed California burritos you're used to. Two or three will do the job but if you have a big appetite, maybe four. I tried the Frijoles con Queso and the Birria, con frijoles y queso. Highly recommend!!! This is the perfect alternative to Birria cravings without the mess. The tortillas are really good too. If you're still not convinced, let me include that while I was waiting for this place to open, a line was forming...a local school bus driver stopped by as well as a man who came directly from the airport with all his luggage in tow, it's that good and I'll be back here for more during my next visit to CA.

Birria hunters look no further ! The deep flavor we all desire in beef birria can be found here ! So glad there are multiple locations. My wife likes the quesadilla , I prefer the burrito. Highly recommended!

Just delicious! All of the burritos are juicy and flavorful and the texture of the flour tortilla is perfect! I love dunking the burritos in the salsa and sometimes, when I’m feeling brave I take some bites of the Serrano chiles. Careful, you’ll be addicted!

The jewel here is their homemade tortillas! I love the birria and chicken tinga but really everything here is good! You cannot go wrong.

My wife and I heard of this place from watching the Taco Chronicles on Netflix. We happened to be in town today so we gave it a shot. We were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff, an easy to read menu and a number of people happily waiting for their meals. I ordered one of everything. Admittedly, the burritos are smaller than other establishments but these burritos are delicious! The birria burritos are amazing, the chicken burritos have a great smoky flavor and probably my favorite, the chicharon, delicious. The wait was short in time since their staff was so quick to deliver the meals to those who were waiting. I wanted to go back as soon as the last burrito disappeared on our way home. I can't wait to return!

Great little shop selling burritos of various stewed meats. Word of note, the burritos are on the small side so be sure to order two or three.

I was a bit disappointed at the size of the burritos at first but they are actually pretty good. I got the birria beans and cheese burrito and left pretty satisfied. I definitely recommend this place for a quick bite and/or to ease your hunger.

This is a great place for some absolutely delicious burritos. That first bite is just amazingly delicious…the textures, flavors, and aromas are wonderful. Don’t hesitate…just come try some.

Great tasting burritos. The tortilla to filling ratio is a great change from "giant" burritos you see everywhere. Get 2-3 if you are hungry.

Orange County's finest burrito shop. The burritos are small, so order enough. Small menu but everything is good.

Burritos are delicious not what you expect when you hear burrito but they are definitely traditional and authentic. Very yummy food. My favorite is the birria or chicharon.
