As a health care provider specializing in childbirth, it is so nice to have Justine to refer to for Physical Therapy! I have been happy to send clients her way and to see the results as they come back for their next pregnancies. This work is so important and having an effective and reliable person to send my clients to is invaluable! Thanks Justine!

Justine has a wonderful talent for not only providing healing of the pelvic floor and beyond, but also making one comfortable while doing it. Other Physical Therapists that I have been to only did work on the outer portion but Justine also does work on the inside. She considers each client as a whole person with unique needs. The Healing Spot staff are also so very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is always one of peace and healing. I would highly recommend the Healing Spot to anyone asking!

This is my 8th pregnancy, but 2nd pregnancy working with Justine. During my last pregnancy, I know her work helped to prepare my pelvic floor for birth. The labor was a little longer, but my muscles were able to stretch and I didn't have any tears or problems post-partem. Hence, when I knew I was pregnant again, I didn't hesitate a moment in calling Justine. My muscles are stronger and I have better control of them. I definitely recommend her! She has been a blessing in my pregnancies!

Ever since the birth of my second child I was having trouble with pelvic floor stability to the point where incontinence was becoming a real issue. I had to be careful with excercise or playing with my kids. I didn't understand because I was doing kegals like crazy! I considered seeking professional help, but wasn't sure my issues were "bad enough" and thought I could "figure it out on my own." Finally, a trusted friend recommended The Healing Spot and I'm so glad she did! Justine made me realize that my pelvic floor muscles weren't responding the way I needed them to becaues they were either too tight or too unbalanced. After 9 sessions my body feels 10 years younger. I am running with my kids twice a week at school with little to no leakage. The Low Pressure Fitness excercises I learned are helping me maintain the therapy we did and are keeping me aware of what my body needs. If you're on the fence about pelvic floor PT, I would say do yourself this favor now and avoid the expense and trauma of surgery or prolapse later!

I was diagnosed with pudendal neuralgia over a year ago. I searched everywhere in Colorado Springs for MDs and PTs who specialized in this type of injury, with no luck. When I finally found The Healing Spot, my healing process changed in a very positive way. I went to weekly PT sessions for 10 months and then every 2-3 weeks for another four months. I could not have made it through this nerve injury without Mary and Justine's knowledge of pelvic floor physical therapy. During the first 10 months of treatment, Mary taught me how to care for myself at home with exercises and tricks to lessen the pain, and she was very patient with my concerns and frustrations. I learned so much from her! After Mary retired, I started seeing Justine who taught me how to build my strength back up again - - a much needed step in my healing journey. I am so thankful to both women for everything they've done to help me heal! I should also mention Margaux, who works the front desk, is especially welcoming and responsive. Everyone who works at The Healing Spot has a kind soul and they want to help in every way they can. I highly, highly recommend The Healing Spot if you are suffering from pelvic pain!

The people here are amazing!
I'm a 17 year old girl I came in with bladder issues due to reasons unknown and no other physical therapy would help treat a minor. But Justine did and helped me so much. Although my problem isn't 100% it's way better then when I first started.

I had never heard of “breast PT” until my lactation consultant recommended Justine. I had a surgery years ago that resulted in a lot of scar tissue in my breasts and when I was a few weeks post partum, it resulted in mastitis. Seeing Justine was what really moved the needle forward and helped me heal a lot faster and I know with my next baby I definitely plan see her preventatively! Justine is highly professional, skilled, and empathetic to women and the things women specifically go through and I am so thankful I found her!

I learned of Justine at the Healing Spot Physical Therapy through the Pikes Peak Postpartum Support. She helped take care of my issues that I had for 10+ years prior to my pregnancy as well as after my pregnancy. My 10+ year old issue was worsened postpartum. For that issue I had been told by 3 doctors to expect full recovery and was seen by 2 chiropractors and another physical therapist then, but I never fully recovered and would depend on frequent massages. After having seen Justine I was able to do a 2.5-hour hike carrying my son in a carrier and the next day run leak-free for 30 minutes. It was nice going to bed and waking up pain free both nights! I feel empowered to now know what exercises I can do at home to help with both of my issues on my own. Justine went above and beyond on all visits and set realistic expectations. I probably need to see her for a few more visits for my 10+ year issue but I'm so pleased to finally have improvement after all those years!

Justine saw me through one of my toughest pregnancies, having my 3rd in 4 years. My body was in so much pain, especially my hips and pelvic floor. She did so much more than releasing those tense muscles! She taught me how to keep my hips aligned and to decrease further injury. I'm also grateful for her support through the stress of a high risk pregnancy as well as the postpartum lows. She sees you where you are at. She has a healing touch!

I had a great set of sessions here! Postpartum pelvic pain brought me in and Justine took the time to explain what she found and what was causing the discomfort. She’s gentle with her myofascial release techniques and gave me plenty of tips on what I could do at home. I highly recommend seeing her for those things that don’t feel right but other medical professionals tend to ignore or overlook (or try to medicate). This was well worth the cost and time!

This was my first experience with Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and Justine made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she educated me on my pelvic floor and how it all works. My sessions with her helped me immensely, knowing how to help my pelvic floor relax has been huge for me. She has great intuition and really knows what she is doing. I highly recommend Justine as a pelvic floor therapist.

How amazing it was to find a PT that specializes in helping women get ready for labor & delivery AND assists in recovery postpartum! I visited Justine several times during my 3rd trimester and postpartum and the physical therapy made a world of difference! Even if you've never had any back or hip issues, I still recommend you get evaluated during your pregnancy as anatomical changes occur due to your sweet baby growing and shifting things around ! Justine is very intuitive and also educational. I appreciate her always explaining everything in detail with anatomical models of the hips and pelvis - it Helps you understand the progress you have already made and the progress yet to come. Justine also showed me an abdominal massage that did wonders for our little baby's gas/constipation/colic pain at 2- 3 months old. On a personal note, it is very sweet that her mom makes baby quilts for Justine's clients, personalized with your sweet baby's name and birthdate, and a personalized burp cloth/ it was so touching to have a gift for the baby 👶and not just a gift for momma. It was a reminder for me that Justine cares for babies and mommas, and the PT helps both. The gift bag I received when I became a new client was also nice. Justine seems very well connected with practitioners for moms & babies and her office has several business cards and pamphlets for other providers too, such as midwives, craniosacral therapy, etc.

Can I just say Justine is such a GEM! After giving birth I was dealing with all sorts of back and neck pain again. I’ve found relief in myofasical release before but Justine takes it to another level. She is so welcoming and knowledgeable! You are fully involved in the process! She has such a passion for wellness and healing and it shines through! Her staff is excellent as well! Most importantly she helps manage my chronic pain! I’m so happy I found her!

A wonderful experience for your mind and body! Justine is a master at helping you get rid of your back pain! I say “helping” because she gives you gentle stretches that you do at home in between visits. So every time you go back, you’re that much closer to recovery! I’ve had 8 visits and I have much more range of movement, without pain! I would recommend Justine and her team, wholeheartedly! For me, it was just plain amazing!

I had no idea what to expect when I contacted The Healing Spot without any prior experience with physical therapy. I started seeing Justine while I was in postpartum recovery from my 2nd pregnancy. From my very first visit I felt so welcome. I think some of the most valuable things that I took away from my time with Justine were all of the knowledge that I gained and the tools that I now have to be able to better support myself moving forward. I did an 8 week package while working through postpartum recovery for pelvic floor and hip support and looked forward to every appointment. Thank you, Justine!

After my doctor referred me for physical therapy, I was so thankful to find The Healing Spot. The whole team is so kind and the welcoming atmosphere of the office is peaceful and clean. Mary mainly worked with me after my initial visit with Justine. Mary's expertise in delivering the care I needed was extremely beneficial. The exercises she recommended for home work were very helpful, as well. I would highly recommend Justine and Mary because they care about helping women heal and they are a delight!

I bought an 8 visit package from The Healing Spot and used it over a 6 month period. Justine did my treatment each time. She gave me her undivided attention for the entire hour of each visit. She has excellent listening skills and direct eye contact so you know she really cares about hearing the details of your specific problem and she truly wants to help. She is extremely confident, educated and skilled in her specialty and it shows. Justine always customized each treatment to address my symptoms that day. She gave me exercises to improve those symptoms by demonstrating them, observed me doing the exercise, and then gave me a handout with descriptions and pictures. She made me feel comfortable from the start about a treatment that could cause anxiety because it is more invasive than a general physical therapy treatment for orthopedic injuries. After completing my 8 visit package, my symptoms have improved about 40% and I now have the tools to better manage my symptoms. My medical care from the Healing Spot truly improved my quality of life! I would definitely return if a future need arises.

I chose here because when I was searching high and low for help with my pelvic floor after having two children their website said they look at the whole person. I wanted a more holistic approach and that is what I received.
From the first call with Margaux, I was blown away with how she listened, asked questions, and truly cared about my issues to help me get the care I needed. Then upon my first meet with Justine, I knew that this was the best decision I could ever make for myself. Initially I went for my pelvic floor, but the healing I received has changed my life.
I was having frequent panic attacks and waking up with general anxiety. Justine helped reset my nervous system and gave me the tools to keep helping myself. We did womb energy healing and I released so much that I had been holding onto (and didn't even realize it)!
My pelvic floor improved and my overall well-being thanks to the powerhouse of women at The Healing Spot!

I bought a package and it was the best investment I have ever made for myself. They're genuine people who truly empower you. Justine explains everything she does and never leaves you in the dark. I'm forever grateful for receiving the healing I did from her. ♥

Justine is absolutely fantastic. I started seeing her when I was pregnant and she did some wonderful work with me. I was having hip and lower back pain and she helped me release it and made my pregnancy much more bearable!
Her treatment made a huge difference.

I appreciate the care she shows her clients. When my baby was born she sent the sweetest personalized blanket. She goes above and beyond for her clients.

Justine is an amazing therapist! I came to her after experiencing back & hip pain for over a year. I had extreme trouble walking and getting around. Medical doctors could find nothing wrong and prescribed traditional exercise - which I was already doing with no improvement. After only 2 sessions with Justine, I felt like a new person! Not only does Justine know how to help a person heal, she also teaches a person how to heal - giving them the tools and knowledge to allow their body to heal on its own. I highly recommend that anyone, especially women, who are experiencing pain or limited mobility reach out to Justine! She is a true gem!
