Trout Montana Motel

Great place to stay close to the river. We did a three day fishing trip and it was perfect. Rooms were clean. Restaurants, grocery, and fishing supplies were within walking distance of our room. Would definitely stay there again!

Loved it!! Quiet. Comfortable and clean rooms. Microwave and fridge in room. Great staff even when I locked us out of our room within minutes of checking in and after hours. Great town. Setup for fishing with pole holders in the room. Will definitely stay again

5 stars is just not enough for this quaint little motel! It was clean, quiet, and very affordable. My son and I made a trip to Great falls form Canada, and we stayed for three nights. It was very worth the extra drive from both Helena and Great falls! The staff was extremely friendly and relaxed..I had packed my paddle board with me, but had forgotten to pack my life jacket. They graciously lent me a life jacket so I could spend some time on the Missouri river. I am a daily runner, and found a lovely little trail to run on with beautiful views. If you are travelling, skip the big ol fancy hotels, and stay here, you won't regret it!!

This is a really great and affordable place to say if you're in the area. The owner and staff are very communicative and friendly. The room was clean and well organized, especially for the angler (drying mat, wader hangers, etc). Internet was super, super fast. The fly shop had a ton of great stuff. And with the adjacent laundry and car (or bike, or boat) washing, you can take care of a lot while staying. Next to basic gas/grocery and near a couple places to grab food too (Def check out Homestead Cafe). Highly recommend checking it out!

Cute little place. Very clean room and organized. Lots of outlets and places to hang things. Not close to river. By map we thoughtbwe cld walk. Great coffee in am. Free. Call to book as booking sites have a glitch to book. Usually use hotel.com canadian funds. They charge US so it was pricier. Hotels was 135 CA they charged US 135. Staff were not friendly. Not rude but just Matter of fact what do you want kind of vibe. They answered only what was asked. Didnt greet you. Didnt engage in conversation with you. We were an inconvienece it seemed. Never thanked us for our business. Rest of montana were super friendly.

Clean rooms. Wonderful owners. Couldn't have asked for more after a five day wilderness canoe trip.

Awesome place. Extremely clean! Comfortable beds. Fishing rod holders and wader racks were installed in each room. Wonderful experience. Fly fishing shop was very nice also

Nice spot. Mike is great. Clean comfortable rooms. Everyone is friendly and helpful at the Motel and the store. They work with local guides to ensure you have a pleasurable fishing experience.

Great affordable Motel, not too far from the expensive Great Falls area. Room had everything I needed for 1 night stay. Extremely quiet town.

Very kind and curtious. Clean comfortable rooms. Most of all I liked the hospitality and being able to call after hours to get a room at 11:45 pm. for my family

Great Small Town Motel!! Very Clean!! Side Note.... Most everything in town closes by 9pm. We were able to get bottles of water/pop from the bar in town.

Mike and his staff make you feel so welcome. Fantastic selection of gear, great service plus the most expert local guides made for a memorable weekend. I am ready to go back...NOW.
