Air Force Academy Fitness and Sports Center

I was a little surprised at how many people were working out on a weekday afternoon but it didn't feel crowded. All the equipment you could need is readily available. The functional fitness area could use some additional bumper plates as there was someone waiting till I finished my sets. They is an absolutely awesome place to get fit though. I'll have to bring my trunks and use the pool next time.

This facility is OUTSTANDING! Ron Walker and his staff do a great job running the USAFA Family Fitness Center. The programs are well organized and inclusive. The equipment is well maintained. The pandemic safety measures conform to standards while accommodating the needs of athletes. Best of all, everyone feels welcome. We are very fortunate.

Really a great gym. There’s a pool that has decent hours for members to get there after work. Great cardio room with all the equipment you could need. Only wish they had a few more afternoon classes since I can’t make it there during work day. Pleasantly surprised how nice it is and that I’ve never tried it before. Super friendly staff as well.

Ignore all the ignorant, bad reviews, they're just from people who can't find the Good in anything.

You should consider yourself very lucky 🍀, if you have the opportunity to vist this outstanding Pool. One of the finest Pools ever, for sure!!

Also, I almost forgot to add this: This Pool has awesome Float Things, and amazing Pool Toys!!

Clean, well equipped, friendly staff, 24hr access, what more do you need?

Always clean and never packed with people. Most of not all of the equipment is high quality.

Great facilities, well staffed, good equipment, nice pool we use for open swim, and sports equipment rentals.

Everything you need to stay and keep fit at 7k feet. Great pool too, keep your eyes on family time hours my granddaughter loves this pool.

Everything you could want in a gym. The classes, pool for family swim days, lots of cardio equipment.. There’s not much I don’t like about the AFA fitness center. Wish it wasn’t such a drive for me but what can you do? 😊

Hands down the best place to work out in the city, an amazing selection of equipment both machines and free weights. Indoor racquetball courts, a fantastically sized swimming pool, and quite a selection of both classes and competitions. Though keep in mind the competitions are for military personnel, their dependents, and civilian DOD employees only. I will say though, as someone who has only gone as a guest, none of the staff treat you any differently as a guest than they do proper ID holding individuals.

Clean, well run. Great asset for active and retired military.

Clean, well kept, variety of equipment, and great customer service.
Civilian employees at military gyms are usually rude, however the customer service in this gym is amazing.

Has everything you might need for most workouts, you just might need to ask where to find it.
