Northgate Physical Therapy has been a huge part of my life for the last 10 weeks post knee replacement. Ben helped me regain range of motion and strength as I expected, but he listen and reassured me throughout the whole process. I trusted him to push me hard enough to get good results but I always felt I had a say in the course of action. His whole-person approach is so refreshing, altering exercises to ensure I am getting the most benefit for the effort. I am legitimately sad to graduate from needing physical therapy as I looked forward to sessions every week.

Northgate Physical Therapy is dedicated to QUALITY patient interactions, and is the first time I have felt like my PT really knew about my progress and needs. I have had physical therapy in the past that was prescribed by a PT but executed by techs, and that was not the case here. The continuity of care with Ben accelerated my progress and motivated me to bring my best.

Thanks to the whole staff but especially Ben for helping me and investing in my health and well-being.

A big thank you to all at the office. I first visited Nortgate Physical Therapy last year for some exercises to try and ward off knee replacement surgery. Despite some success, unfortunately my knee was too far gone for the exercises to make any real difference. So, after having the knee replacement surgery in July I went back for treatment to get my knee moving again. Over the past 10 weeks I have improved significantly to where I am confident of getting back to 100% very soon. Everyone at the office was very supportive and patient with me even when things were not going as fast I as had hoped. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing it which made me feel comfortable even when I knew it was going to hurt! I would definitely recommend Northgate Physical Therapy to anyone needing PT assistance.

NorthGate PT is the best place I have ever been. They are extremely committed to getting you back to normal activity, extremely knowledgeable, and methodical, gentle, and personable. I have been under the care of Ben Saunders for the past year after severing my ACL in a skiing accident. This happened a few months after Shoulder surgery, So it has been quite a year for me. Even at my "venerable" age of 58, I'm happy to say my shoulder is back to 100% mobility and strength, and my knee has only a little ways to go! NorthGate PT is one of the few facilities that offer Neuro-Mobilization, Dry-Needling and Blood Flow Restriction therapies. They will follow you for the entire hour and not waste any time with "filler" routines. Ben and Rebecca constantly adapt to my level of recovery, and are innovative and flexible with the workouts and therapies for each session. 10 stars out of 5!

What a difference you made. I was experiencing hip and joint problems from working at home issues and it was getting worse over time and affecting my ability to walk and use stairs. After speaking with several doctors and surgeons about the matter, it appeared unanimous that I was heading for some serious reconstruction surgery and an extensive recovery. Rebecca at Northgate Physical Therapy listened to my concerns and understood my situation. She earned my trust and persuaded me in a different direction, to possibly not have the life damaging surgery unless absolutely needed, and in turn to do my part and simply work on strengthening my body to overcome the issue naturally. It took time but she never gave up on me. Now I feel blessed for not giving up on her. The advice from one person that cared has seriously changed my life. I have quality of life now. The folks at Northgate Physical Therapy were completely down to earth yet very professional by starting me off exercising with very light weights and showed me the strength training and weightlifting exercises that would have the most positive effect over time (their confident advice was spot on and accurate). By strengthening up the muscles around the joints in the right way to hold in place and allowing itself to heal over time was brilliant. I could have never imagined how it was going to turn out. Within a couple of months, I noticed a big difference and developed a strong desire to continue my own training for years to come – It's become a challenge that paid off. Long story short: The pain has vanished, and I am much stronger and healthier. Walking, biking, and stairs are no longer feared. I hadn’t participated in sports for years, but now growing very fond of the weightlifting benefits. Joint problems, weight problems, and Diabetes are no longer an issue and I feel great. It’s hard for me to believe that a year ago I could hardly walk without pain and today at the age of 60, in the best shape of my life and enthusiastic about experimenting with new challenging lifts with weights that I haven’t been able to lift for 25 years. I hope to enjoy it as long as my health allows it to continue. Thank You Rebecca, for the sound advice and dedication. You are highly recommended and seriously changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful. Thank You !!!

The professionals at Northgate made me feel confident that I was getting the best treatment available. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. Fawn is absolutely amazing. Going through her own shoulder injury has given her unique insight into these types of injuries and what it takes to heal from them. She is a great therapist and a wonderful person. I recommend Northgates services to anyone who wants to work with an incredible team who is dedicated to your recovery and well being.

Our 14 year old fell while climbing at Arches in March. He sprained both ankles and also hurt his back. By the end of the school year in May he was showing some improvement but still hurting with weight bearing and the back pain had not improved. With the lofty goal of not missing a Grand Canyon backpacking trip at the begging of July, we set our sights on starting physical therapy.

I am SO glad we made the call to go to this group. Dr. Ben Saunders listened to my son's goals and examined each injury to get him on the right treatment plan. Even with the communication barrier of using few words and not being very descriptive that stems from my son being autistic, Ben fully heard my son and did a thorough examination. Instead of chalking up the back pain to sequela from the ankle injuries and ignoring it or minimizing it as previous providers did, he also fully examined his back and found that my son had sprained an area of his spine. Imagine if that had continued to be missed and ignored! Ben fully supported my son in getting back to exploring the outdoors, and gave him the attention and at home assignments he needed to recover quickly.

Six weeks later, my son dawned a 35 lb pack and hiked down, through, and back up out of the Grand Canyon with NO PAIN!! 35 lbs on a previously sprained back. Several thousand feet of elevation changes and miles of distance on previously sprained ankles. Sprains that didn't recover in the 8 weeks before working with Ben completely healed in the 6 weeks with Ben.

Ben was Caleb's primary provider, but the whole crew at Northgate PT were kind, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. I am confident that whomever you work with you will not regret coming to this group!

I've had chronic lower back pain for about a decade and experienced pain in my feet while running. The amazing team at Northgate Physical Therapy provided incredible undivided time, attention, and compassionate expertise to my treatment and I'm now moving and feeling the best I have in a long time. Rebecca, Ben, Fawn, and Gracie truly care about their patients. They listened to my concerns, and evaluated my symptoms and progress; the care I received was in direct response to what I was experiencing and my goals. I can't recommend Northgate Physical Therapy highly enough.

Rebecca and her team of Ben and Fawn made PT for my complete knee replacement an awesome experience. Not only are they knowledgeable but I truly felt they shared my passion to rehab my knee to much better than it had been for a very long time. They offered and I accepted blood flow restriction therapy that made my knee stronger with less stress on the joint.
I strongly recommend them as they are a very friendly and highly effective team. Regards, Jerry T.

Northgate PT was my last try at getting some relief from chronic headaches, neck, shoulder, and back pain. I WISH I WOULD HAVE COME SOONER! In a matter of a few months, they have alleviated issues I’ve struggled with for years. So thankful that Ben took me on and helped me out of pain, along with Rebecca! I love the whole staff and I love that I feel like I’m an investment from the whole team. Meaning, I’ve heard them talk amongst themselves about treatment options and what’s best as a whole overall approach. Northgate’s office is about 40-45 min from me and I wouldn’t ever hesitate to call them for anything, ever. True professionals that are very skilled and educated in their craft. So grateful to all of you!

I went to Northgate Physical Therapy after a knee replacement/revision. I went reluctantly, because previous experiences with physical therapists had conditioned me to expect a waste of my time and money. I was SO wrong! I benefited greatly from six weeks of PT at Northgate, and enjoyed my visits. I made great progress with their help. I recommend Northgate without reservation. Okay, maybe a tiny one! If you're allergic to dogs (which I am), make sure you let them know, because they have a therapy dog who is hilarious to watch, but it doesn't change the fact that she makes my eyes itch! They were great about keeping the dog away from me. If you're not allergic to dogs, you'll love this practice. Even being allergic, I loved the fact that it's a teaching practice, so they are really up to date. Big shout out to Fawn! She's the BEST! Six weeks post op and I'm doing most of the things I want to do! I have to wait another month to resume search and rescue work, but I'll get there, thanks to Northgate!

I started as a patient with Northgate Physical Therapy last summer after moving to Colorado from the east coast. At that point, my activity level had been declining steadily since fall of 2019 when I developed tendinitis in my ankle during a half marathon training block. While I had already completed physical therapy for my ankle at a different clinic, it never felt right. I also had recently been diagnosed with mild hip impingement and was nursing a sore hamstring. I struggled to complete workouts (and day to day activities) without pain. In short, things were a mess, and I was discouraged.

My experience at Northgate was totally different than my past PT experiences. I received one-on-one attention from my first session. Rebecca, Ben, and Fawn constantly reevaluated my condition and evaluated my progress, explaining everything along the way. They took the time to discover that some of my "injuries" were actually symptoms and treated the cause.

Shortly before discharge, I hiked the Manitou Incline the day before leaving for a national parks trip during which I was able to hike 16 miles around the Grand Canyon without a second thought. Today, I’m back on my bike and trails, pain free.

I left Northgate Physical Therapy with the tools and confidence to keep myself strong and prevent future injuries.

The office followed COVID safe practices, with masks and thorough cleaning.

I can't recommend Northgate Physical therapy strongly enough.

This is the place to get strong! The owner and associates have only one care, your health and getting you back to your life. The care I received allowed me to get back to my life. They also have what I would call a service dog witch is so sweet I would bring her organic treats. Love her. My Physical therapist was the best, caring and hard core. Love this place. Don't waste time, just go here to get better and bring Doggie snacks!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff at NorthGate Physical Therapy! While preparing for a race, I started to struggle with hip and leg pain, and was concerned I may have to stop training. During my initial meeting, Ben helped diagnose the root cause of the pain, and gave me exercises to do at home between sessions. I began to see results after only a few sessions and made it to my race pain free! Ben, Fawn, and Rebecca are all incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job breaking down their process in each meeting. During my final appointment they gave me a list of preventative exercises to add to my daily routine to avoid the pain from coming back! I highly recommend NorthGate PT!

Northgate Physical Therapy is not only a great physical therapy clinic but also a great teaching clinic. Both Rebecca and Ben are certified manual therapist, Rebecca also specializes on dry needling and Ben specialized blow flow restrictions training (only provider at Colorado Springs and monument region) they had amazing results to treat low back pain, neck pain, headache, shoulder pain, knee pain, ankle etc. As a final year of Doctor of Physical Therapy student, I have learned so much beyond entry level of physical therapy practice and awesome treatments I have never heard back at school , this is only physical therapy place I feel confident to recommend my friends and family.

After seeing another PT in the area for several months I was skeptical Northgate PT would be able to help me with my hip and back pain. I am so glad I discovered Northgate Physical Therapy!!! Rebecca, Ben, and Fawn are all amazing! If you have pain and think you just need to live with it, I would highly recommend giving them a call!

I had 4 herniated or bulging disks. Rebecca and Ben at Northgate Physical therapy used dry needling on my back for several sessions and the effects were amazing! They also gave me exercises to do at home to maintain and I can say I am pain free - no surgery needed. Thanks!

A few months ago I was struck with such pain in my lower back that I had trouble walking, sitting, and even getting up from a seated position. I've had dull aches in my back for a while, but the most recent situation was really debilitating. Rebecca and her amazing team helped me completely overcome this overwhelming this back pain. Not only did my back pain subside, it's completely gone! Rebecca also taught me various exercises to keep me strong so this problem won't happen again. If something does pop up though, I know where to go. I highly recommend Northgate Physical Therapy!

Starting seeing Ben and Rebbeca after seeking a second opinion after the first PT recommended back surgery at 26 years old. Went in with debilitating lower back and leg pain, to the point I was unable to walk up an incline. After my first dry needling I was able to walk normally again. After completing the PT regiment with Northgate I am able to live pain free.
