Excellent food & amazing down to earth staff. The new owners have brought new life to Perks & it is better than ever. By far the best hang out in the town of Mackay.

I've been coming to perks for a very long time, and while it's changed hands a couple of times over the years, it's always remained my favorite watering hole in the lost river valley. The staff is friendly, the beer is always cold, and the atmosphere is always light and lively.
If you're in the area and you're thirsty, stop in and wet your whistle. You won't be disappointed.

A fun and friendly local Mackay bar for visiting Boiseans. We loved getting to know some of the locals--and no smoking! Bartender Guy was welcoming and such a nice fellow.

103 yr. Old cowboy bar with a fantastic old Brunswick bar that is pre-1900. The locals are friendly if you don't talk politics or play punk/ thrash on the internet connected jukebox.
