I have had a box in Hailey since 2004. I have never had a bad experience. I come here almost everyday. They have had staffing shortages. Mail can be slow sometimes. Usually it’s great.

The employee I worked with was very friendly, and while the postal service is incredibly backed up due to understaffing, it is not the fault of this post office in particular, and they are clearly doing their best to provide us with the best service possible under the conditions.

There I was, waiting to send a package that was already late and was waiting for the buyer from Marketplace to place the order for a second time as it had canceled. I teach school starting at 7:30 and then teach private music lesson usually until 5:30 or 6. Neither are really the kind of job i can duck out of for a few minutes to go to the post office. Today i happened to have a music lesson cancel, so I ran to the post office. Just as the buyer re-ordered, it turned 5:00. I was messaging with the buyer saying I was at the post office ready to send it. As I walked up to Jose’s window the woman he was working with said, sorry we’re closed, you’ll have to come back tomorrow. We open at 8. Jose said nothing, just stood there patiently waiting as I found the address. I said to her, I’ll be at work at 8 and work until 6:00. Her answer, “well you’ll have to come back, just sayin’. We’re closed”. I answered with “I was just hoping you could help me out. This package is already late. Her “sigh”. Jose was AWESOME and took the extra few minutes to help me out as she continued to walk around sighing and grumbling. So why the 5 stars? Because Jose is what she would probably call a pushover and what I call an exemplary human being who knows that by spending just that 6 minutes (I walked out the door at 5:07), he was making my day. I’ve known Jose for many years and it is his nature to be kind and I know that will bless his life. Jose, thank you. Female coworker...all I can say is...Karma.

Always great customer service whether we are in the post office or the mail carrier comes in our office! Keep up the great work :)

Th service here depends on who you interact with. Some tellers are really nice while others definitely don’t want to be there. It is incredibly frustrating when they act like you’re supposed to know all the ins and outs of the post office when you don’t work there.

Not super thrilled about the whole “mail isn’t sorted yet” but the chick at the counter was pleasant and helpful. Hopefully my packages show up within the next few weeks 🤞

Mostly friendly staff. Facility is always clean. Have felt like a burden to one staff member on multiple occasions just for picking up mail. They must be under an incredible amount of stress but it’s really uncomfortable to feel like that.

Good location. Poor maintenance throughout winter months. Front door has been missing for three years.

Got what I needed

Normally don’t do reviews but this post office just doesn’t have welcoming employees. Their staff is rude and don’t process packages good. Should of stuck with Bellevue’s post office instead!

Every package is delivered 2-5 days late. But at least it gets delivered eventually?

Mail service in Hailey has been terrible for the past few years. Mail and packages are often delivered to the wrong address and often delayed. UPS and Fedex deliver reliably but the Hailey USPS is simply incompetent. It seems that they just can't get their act together
