This is a cute hidden diner that my daughter loved!!! She had a Grease-themed party for her 8th bday so definitely appreciated the fun decor. Food was great! Service was friendly and very welcoming. Will go back next time we're in town. Oh and LOVED that they served breakfast ALL DAY!!

Odd as this will read, we initially arrived because of geocache hidden but stayed because it was amazing! The hostess greeted us immediately. She gave us a dining options: we chose outside.

We were hangry so we skipped apps to entrees. I landed on the 50/50 bacon burger ... it’s 50% ground beef, 50% ground bacon. Heaven on Earth. The strawberry ice cream soda was refreshing in the Idahoan sunshine. Felt like a celebrity from the attentive service by our server - highly recommend!

Great food and service the restaurant was 50's nostalgic love all the old music also. I had the deli roast beef on marble rye it was delicious. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich with fresh onion rings overall experience was great I give them a 10 thanks again for the good food and great service.

Really homey restaurant if your looking for a friendly fun environment to eat this is the place not necessarily professional but it’s very welcoming and are waiter Brook was so fantastic love her energy definitely recommend.

Amazing.... brings me way back......then back to the future......the breakfast and other meals are named for the golden era of rock and jazz and blues. The whole idea of the restaurant is amazing and peaceful. The staff is dressed as the mate era of popular music and cars......I visit the zoo next door as well because, I'm a taxi driver. Stop here once and you want another meal try them all......very very good.

The food service atmosphere on Thanksgiving day was awesome!! The ladies are so welcoming & friendly and the food on the buffet was just like mommas!! So yummy!! It's a cute 50's dinner with really good food on the menu as well!!

This meal was the highlight of my day the service was amazing I had a new waitress but she did her job thoroughly and correctly and we gave her a pop quiz question for a big tip. It was an exciting time and we all had fun great family environment and I would definitely be going back sometime very soon.

Amazed, amused and astonished at the exceptional service given at this restaurant. Great time capsule of you enjoy doom woo music, burgers and banana split sundaes. Our waitress was very friendly and down to earth. We went out of our way to tip her, especially after the amazing sundae she created for our family after we decided to share a dessert. Bathrooms were clean and themed in 1950's decor. Definitely family friendly and a fun place to spend time together.

Food was excellent. Wraps were large and filling. The Dagwood sandwich was VERY big.🤗 and delicious. Service was excellent. Waitress was really great and accomidating.

The last two times I've visited the Wayback Cafe, the service has been excellent! Sorry I can't remember her name but the waitress with the short black hair (Julie maybe) has been absolutely over the top in her service; a very friendly and attentative waitress! The food was excellent as always. Wayback's breakfasts, burgers, and shakes are amazing, delicious, made/cooked perfectly, and always with excellent presentation. And the atmosphere, why wouldn't I rave about its this wonderful and cheery restaurant with an old-fashioned look and appeal. They have many displays and reading material from the 40s, 50s & 60s--always very interesting and a person can find something new each visit to spark a fond memory. If you're visiting Lewiston, Idaho, don't miss dining at this eatery!

Had Breakfast with my kids this morning. Excellent service. And the best breakfast I've had at a local restaurant in a long time. Perfect portions, eggs cooked just as I asked.

I got the Wayback Jack (mushrooms, pepper jack and bacon) burger with Buffalo chips and it was delicious! I would suggest trying the Buffalo chips instead of fries, they are just the right amount of spice. There is so much more there than that and they also have new menu items.
