We love this little Sedona gem. Fifteen years ago we stopped in and bought hiking shoes and poles and we just loved this place. It’s only gotten better. We got more shoes and gear this time around and the service is always top notch. On top of that — James recommended one of the most amazing hikes that we thoroughly enjoyed. This is your one stop shop for gear, hiking information, and the expertise of the folks who work here. If you visit Sedona you must stop and shop!

We visited the Hike House on our way to Sedona and were so lucky to have Alissa help us. She is phenomenal and made some key suggestions for us. We bought new boots, socks, and a new backpack. Were very excited that this local gem remains thriving in our favorite hiking town!

We visited Sedona last spring and had no perspective on which trails our family of four (11 year old daughter and 9 year old son) should hike. We found The Hike House because we needed some shoes. Everyone was very helpful, and we ended up speaking with the owner, Greg. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. We found some incredible, reasonably priced shoes that protected our feet in the unseasonably cold and wet weather. Additionally, he kindly recommended several trails for our family, and they were perfect hikes for us. He has also written a helpful book on the numerous trails in the area. Additionally, he provided us with a map of the Grand Canyon and tips to find beautiful experiences that were a little off the beaten trail. We highly recommend a stop at The Hike House if you are in Sedona.

Don’t miss this place when in Sedona. Lots of great hiking, outdoor, & kick it gear. Also, great gift options for those back home that don’t travel with you. Whether it was the hiking shoe/boot selection, the bags, clothes, or other supplies, they had so much to choose from.

Also, their staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us with items in the store as well as told us about the best hikes in the area. Definitely check this place out. It is top notch!!!

The Sedona Photography Tour specialty hike with Kevin Floerke was a profoundly awesome experience. I cannot find the words to convey it's beauty. In addition to being safely guided to one of the most beautiful sites on earth for dark sky photography, Kevin deftly taught us how to best capture images. His love for our natural world is evident and he generously shares his knowledge and his personal energy.

We loved this store! My husband and I came here after meeting someone on our 2nd hiking trail who told us about the famous hiking book from the Hike House! We ended up purchasing the book and also got it signed by the author! We gained a lot of information after talking to Brett, one of the associates there. He made us feel comfortable about purchasing our first pair of trekking poles (walking sticks) and they really came in handy and helped us a ton with our future hikes this week! Wonderful, homey, hiking store! Not only for gear, but for knowledge especially if you're somewhat new to hiking like we were!

We stopped in The Hike House for a famous cookie, and ended up talking to Laina. She took the time to listen to our hiking interests and recommended a gorgeous hike up Brin Mesa. It was the highlight of our trip! Thanks, Laina!

We flew in from Dallas on our way to the Grand Canyon to day hike/run from rim to river and more. On our way, we stopped at The Hike House for some supplies and some athleisure gifts. Our experience exceeded our expectations! Greg and Gracie (proprietors) provided great hospitality, and they did their job in stocking the store with very useful items for the trail that's also tops in quality. Overall, great customer service and useful product. We'll be back! Thank you!

Typical local hiking gear shop. Staff was very friendly and offered a lot of trail advice especially based on conditions (rainy/snow mix all day).

They didn’t have my size in stock, so they kindly directed me to another store that had them. David and Grant were a blast to talk to and very knowledgeable about the trails in the area. I will definitely be coming back here for any hiking supply needs in Sedona!

My wife and I stopped in to ask about how to pack more water now that we're in the Southwest. I got good answers and a bunch of hiking trail suggestions. The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly and nice. We got some maps and gear.

Great place to stop if you need any hiking gear. All name brands that will last for years to come. We have been here several times during our trips to Sedona and always find something we need.
