The service is always fun...I love the hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and ice cream choices.... There is only outside seating, so when it's nice outside I sit at the picnic table... Otherwise I'm driving down the road making a mess 😂

Great food better then any fast food joint for a fact reasonable prices would recommend anyone local or out of town to stop and enjoy just good ole' food.

A shared historical, local experience. Been enjoying the chili dogs for over 45 years and counting. The tradition continues every year when going back home for the holidays with my kids. You can tell an out of towners' review because they don't get the 'yelling of the order', the food style or the eating in the car. That's OK though. Dairy Dell is clearly the winner when you look across the street at Hardee's or even Burger King.

It was my first time there. They make super delicious hamburgers with French fries. Less than $7.00. I will go again.

Get your breakfast of champions here!! Bacon,egg ,and cheese on toast is my go to and the bacon is always nice and crispy! Ad in some fries or a hash brown and some perfectly sweet southern the way it should be tea and you have it made!! Oh don't forget the ice cream. I know you are saying you can't have that for breakfast and normally I'd listen to you but there is something great about ice cream first thing in the morning or any time of the day for that matter!

Great burgers and fries. Never disappointed at Dairy Dell. Been going there since the hot dogs were 3 for $1.00.

What a great place! Great hamburgers and milkshake. The friends we were with had the potato soup and they really liked it.

There is nothing to not like about this place. Cash only is the only complaint I have. and the food is great. Not bad prices and staff is great! Would recommend to anybody.

Dairy Dell is a place that I must stop on each visit to and through the area. The banana boat is delish and don't forget to get the pink hotdog all the way.

Old style, Pic up and go drive-in, there is a picnic table and you could eat in the parking lot. Heard someone pick up a call in order. Place to stop when traveling through South Boston. Cheeseburger was like from the backyard. Good clean crisp lettuce and tomato. Hot Dog was good but if you are up in the air about the 2 go for the burger. Large drink, no complaints but way bigger than I thought. Fair prices, cash only, was busy but the line ran smooth, and wonderful service. No reason to settle for a chain fastfood joint when traveling through. Will be my got to spot there for a quick good meal. Don't let a standing line deter you. The orders came up quick and people were in and out. Always wanted to stop here and wish I had before now. My other regret is not eating in the parking lot and trying some of the ice cream I saw people get

Cash only. Very generous with the bacon on my breakfast sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger all the way is the best in town!! Order ahead if you'd like to grab and go, if not, there's a couple minutes wait if they're slow. If they're busy, 15 to 20 minutes wait. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Enjoy!

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. I'll be 47 in a couple of days and this place has never been a disappointment. Hy I live in Connecticut and when I travel to Virginia this is the first place that I always stop and last place before I leave

The burgers are amazing, and the ice cream selections are delicious (they have hand dipped as well as soft serve). The staff are friendly and this is a drive in restaurant but the area outside they keep clean. Someone had dropped ice cream in the parking area before we arrived and when my dad got out to walk to the window to place our order the gentleman working there told him to watch his step not to step in the ice cream and was bringing warm water to clean up the mess. This is a great local staple and if you're passing through give them a try!

Brought my mom to South Boston VA to reminisce. Stoppd here for ice cream. Then came back for dinner before we left town. Delicious. Will be back.

The Cooks Are Nice & Friendly & They Always Want To Make Sure That Your Order Is Correct. Kitchen Area Is Always Clean.
But The Main Store Area Could Use A Good Cleaning.

There's nothing like a Dairy Dell bacon cheeseburger with pickled chips with ranch to dip them chips in and an ice cold Pepsi.
