Grizzly's Hatchet House

First time here and our local friend made a reservation. The atmosphere has a modern hunter lodge feel but with plenty of creature comforts. The staff were all attentive and welcoming. We arrived a bit early so had a few drinks and some played the many available games located throughout the building. Everyone gets signed in when the times comes and you have to sign a waiver as your throwing axes of course. Once we got to our lane it was great. The coach we had was patient and really got along with everyone. We played a series of point based games but it was a blast and a good adrenaline rush. Once our allotted time was up we headed to the large outdoor patio. There was an awesome local band playing that was excellent. This place will be worth stopping by and I highly recommend them. I would like to see only one thing In retrospect and that would be a few other weight and handle options for the axes for different types of throwers. That said it was still a blast. Cheers!!

Extremely friendly for first time visit. Tressa is an excellent host and very friendly..she made getting to know the place (food, beverages, live music and hatchet throwing) for a new patron. Nice place, very clean and great setup (check out the pics). Outside seating. Bar area. Lounge area with leather couch and several chairs. Fireplace. LIVE Music at certain times. Great location with plenty of parking. All the hatchet throwing customers had smiles and were having a great time. Good food! Pizza was great. Looking forward to next time. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! My family and I went to celebrate my bro and Mom's birthdays, everyone had a blast throwing axes 🪓. The instructor was nice and very informative. The food was delicious, from the wings to the Flatbread pizzas. We even met one of the owners, Tesa, she is super sweet. I'd definitely recommend this place for a fun night out.

Tesa the owner was amazing, The food was delicious, Our coach Garrett was fun & friendly. Loved the environment, loads of drink choices, all around a great time. Axe throwing is our new favorite It was our 1st visit & We will definitely be back.

Great beer and hatchets - what else do you need? Well, good food I suppose. Great venue, good food & drinks, live music, lots of fun. Def going back.

This is going to be a great place to hang out and have fun! Wonderful, friendly staff, good bar food (try the Reuben!) and several beers on tap. Go for it!

Grizzly's Hatchet House is a very cool venue with an extreme, laid back environment that you can make yourself at home in. Delicious food, friendly staff and awesome entertainment.

Great band! Loved the atmosphere and the staff! Everyone was cool to meet and the band was amazing! Came all the way from Greensboro to see them! Worth the drive!

Always a great time here!! Staff is always courteous and welcoming. Very social atmosphere. Board games, few arcade style games, live music, outside patio, food is always good and a nice selection of craft and domestic beers. You can't go wrong spending your evening here. ❤

@grizzly’s hatchet house, its a place to be when you need a change. Unique sports bar, Axe throwing is a skill and a trainer is right besides you showing how to and what not to do 😃. We had a great time, say A BLAST. Bar is well stocked with Beer and Wine from local breweries/wineries.We shall be back again when they open for public.

Live Music every weekend, awesome food and drink selection, wonderful staff. Super fun place to go with friends, family, business, great group activity. Coaches are with you every step of the way, if it's your first or 50th time throwing hatchets.

Had a blast. Went with wife and her friends. All had fun. Made a reservation and glad we did because they got busy on friday nite. Will definitely be back.

Date night, and we had so much fun. We couldn't even really fathom what it was wanting to throw an axe, but our coach was great, we laughed a bunch. The food is very simple but decent and just a great atmosphere. You pay to play by the hour and that gives you a bunch of games. We just really had a blast

Great staff. Everything is safety orientated in a relaxed way (aka here are the rules, follow them and we all will have a good time). It takes skill and practice to land shots. Our coach (free with lane reservation) was extremely helpful. Both my wife and I had a blast.

A fun venue providing good food, live entertainment, and hatchet throwing. Available for birthday parties, etc. The building offers rustic comfort with a number of craft beers on tap, bottles, and cans. The owners, Texas and Kevin, are some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with, and their staff is attentive, prompt, and courteous. A true breath of fresh air for an evening of fun and entertainment. I highly recommend Grizzlys!

I brought my daughter for her 22nd birthday and we had a blast! It was so much fun. The local beers were a great touch. Matt was so helpful! He coached us and made the experience so fun! It was a good time!!!

Fun! We did a really late appointment and we were the only two on the lane. I don't know if I would have liked it so much if we were having a share with six other people but it was great. Wish they had mixed drinks.

Our group had a great time we really enjoyed this escape room in Danville better than the previous. Myself personally loved the challenges with the different types of clues it wasn't all combination numbers. Everyone in our group would like to go again. Everyone at this establishment was very nice really relaxing atmosphere so much fun.

This place is awesome. We had a great time and our instructor was very helpful. They made sure everyone had a great time while being safe. My 13 year old son is ready to go back, while my daughter killed all of us in the games we played.

Great place. A very fun event for a Birthday party or any group event. Very fun too watch. Great attendants for support and score keeping. Would definitely do this again.
