O’Kellys

A nice variety in this small town when you don't feel like greasy fries and burgers. A sandwich stands true on it's own merit when you don't have to add condiments. Well, I can say that about their baked chicken sandwich. Nice sized portion and definitely not dry at all. The Polish kielbasa is good as well.

Stopped in for an early lunch (10:30) after a recommendation and were not disappointed. Alexia (I probably got that wrong) behind the counter was friendly and thorough. Diane ordered the turkey and I ordered their signature chicken salad, both on the cheese bread. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The only thing is I would ask next time to toast the bread which would have put it over the top. The tomatoes I had added were deep red and fresh. We also obtained two apple fritters that were exceptionally good. It is a very nice atmosphere to enjoy a great fresh sandwich.

1 INCH OF BACON ON MY BLT! Reasonably priced and very filling food. Good quality too.

Came in on a delivery only to find out, after taking some product in that the restaurant we were supposed to deliver to was no longer located there. The Staff here was friendly and we had a good laugh from the situation. They gave us their Famous Chicken salad sandwich and it was outta this world! Thanks ladies and I will definitely be back soon!!!!

I had the BLT, and it was off the chain! The soft yeast roll made the sandwich, not to mention it was loaded with bacon and really nice tomatoes.

Giving 5 stars for the chicken Salad, I got chocolate cake but it didnt taste like a homemade cake so a 2 star for that, but over all clean, great customer service

Each week we stop by to get a large cup of either their freshly made Tuna or Chicken Salad to use for sandwiches. Both the Tuna and the Chicken Salad are Delicious!!!! At least once or twice a week we will stop in to get one of their grilled chicken tossed salads that are HUGE. One salad is enough for 2 adults to divide because it is such a large portion and it is always super fresh and delicious. Anything we have ever ordered or gotten prepared has tasted great, that is why we are such regular weekly customers. They also have a selection of cake slices and canned goods inside for sale. Every holiday and sometimes in between we get a couple packs of their freshly baked rolls which are also delicious. Like I said- you can’t go wrong with anything you order from them. They have a huge selection of deli meats which you can get a sandwich made or you can order it by the pound. Their customer service is outstanding. We are very fortunate that they opened up a location here in South Boston.

Ate here while staying over the weekend for a music festival. The service was outstanding and the food is incredible. Their sandwich bread was so fresh and light. The turkey and Swiss was served warm, as it should be. Their donuts and cakes are delicious! All for a fantastic price! I wish this place was local to where we live. We could eat here daily!

Best chef salad in town and a fantastic club sandwich

Wife loved when there was one in Lynchburg unfortunately that one closed so as we were traveling she forced me to stop to get a baked chicken sandwich there because they are great!

I love this O'Kellys in South Boston, VA. They have a good variety of desserts and pastries. I love the Red Velvet cake and the Spotted Cow cake. The chicken salad is wonderful and so is the roast beef sandwich with the O'Malley sauce.

Very friendly customer service. Amazing everything that I've tasted so far, especially the chicken salad, and different varieties of
absolutely delicious melt in your mouth slices of cake. I would definitely recommend this place as a go to for delicious food!

I was working in the area 2 years ago during Covid on Thanksgiving and my friends and I stopped in the plaza to get something to eat when we were approached by a woman. She asked if we were hungry and her timing was perfect. I don’t remember her name but I do remember her telling us that they ( O’Kelly’s ) appreciate us truck drivers for being out here away from our families.
We were giving some very delicious food to eat. It makes me feel good when people acknowledge people who are away from home to serve others. Thanks again O’Kelly’s, your awesome!

I ate the chicken sandwich salad sandwich. It was great. Washed it down with a cold Pepsi. It was delicious.

Always something new to try here. No need to order the same thing every time. Just ask for a suggestion from behind the counter. Everything is great!

The young lady that took my order was polite, was talkative, also she was helpful and eager to upsell with no hassle.. My order was correct and the food was yummy..
