Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

Tonight was the first time in a long time eating out and everything was Spot On! Great Food and lots of it too ! Service couldn’t have been better we definitely had the Best Waitress in the house thank you for our eating out pleasure tonight! Will make the drive next time we eat out

It was a wonderful dining experience. It had been quite some time since I'd been to a Mayflower restaurant. It was as I remembered. Same decor and all. But most of all the food and service was great. Our group of four all enjoyed our meals. Every thing arrived to the table fresh and hot from the kitchen in a timely manner. Our waitress was absolutely one of the best I've experienced anywhere. She was attentive and didn't miss a beat. Before we could ask, she was there. The next time Im in the area, I'll ndefinitely consider another visit.

The food is great especially the white fish and fried oysters! But let’s talk about the service because that’s what a lot of places are lacking in. The young man working the takeout counter on the side is what keeps me coming back most of all instead of going to the other seafood places. He is so kind, friendly, and respectful. I can tell he takes pride in his work. All the condiments are bagged, nothing is forgotten. I even noticed no matter how busy, he managed to hand his coworker a pen before she had to ask …when she was answering the phone. Everyone is very good at their jobs but it’s this particular young man I notice who always goes above and behind. It’s nice to see that.

The meal was great, the prices are really really affordable in today's time. The server we had was on point, so friendly and welcoming I wish I remembered her name but as I sat and ate, I noticed all the servers were friendly and hospitable. Can't wait to go back

Food was hot, well prepared. Restaurant was extremely busy but food and service was very good. Ample parking. Ladies restroom smelled like old Clorox. Fair prices, large servings

I got the Wednesday Special- White Fish & Popcorn Shrimp w/ a Baked Potato & Coleslaw! It was so Delicious!! Great amount of food too!!
My nephew got large Chicken Tenders w/ Fries! It was alot of tenders!! They were Delicious too!! Our waitress was nice and attentive!! The restaurant was clean also!! That makes a big difference to Me!!

Great selections and taste. We have only tried the two choice dinners (small) It's a lot of great food for the money served hot in a nice atmosphere.

The food was excellent..The waiter and the atmosphere was awesome.

I’ve ate here on multiple occasions and I’ve also worked here. Mayflower SeaFood is a great place to go to in Danville Va. They host parties but before call them so they can overlook the party room and make sure it’s extra spotless for you. The waitresses and waiters there are amazing at their jobs. They will always check on you and make sure everything is fine. If something’s wrong with your order he or she will make sure it’s taken care of. The busboys there are fast at what they do. They do not sell alcoholic beverages. But they do serve water, sweet tea, pink lemonade and other soft drinks. They have hot sauce, ketchup, tartar sauce etc. It’s a friendly environment and very peaceful. There are hiccups here and there but other than that it’s a good place to eat after church or even after a movie date or a business meeting etc. They are willing to work with you.

I don't have any complaints. Ever since they opened back up after the pandemic, everything has been improved. The food, customer service, and the menu.

Fantastic food and huge portions for less than 20 bucks you can't beat it.

Once again, a great supper. The food was really good and the service was great. I still think it's funny that it seems like we're usually the youngest ones in there. But still nice.

My wife and I had the Friday night special... Baby Flounder/Shrimp $7.99 ea. Perfect plate/excellent flavor. Our little waitress was the best! 😎

Great food, great prices. Wish we had this restaurant where I lived. I had fried catfish and popcorn shrimp. More than I could eat!

We waited for 10 minutes to be seated no one was in site but the waitress was great the food was great as well and not to bad on prices

I had not been here in years. Bri was an excellent waitress! Met former coworkers for dinner, and we had time to talk and laugh without feeling rushed. Lol. I probably would have given the food a better rating had we not just returned from the beach with the fresh seafood there. It's definitely a yummy seafood place in Danville.

Myself and family were visiting from out of town for a family event. Our family that lives in Danville, VA recommended this place and met us for dinner on Friday night. The food and sweet tea was excellent!! Our waitress Grace, was amazing!!
Sunday, our family was gathering again at the Marriott (Amazing Staff). We were getting hungry and needed lunch for a large group of family. I suggested Mayflowers again because it was close to our hotel. Mayflowers went above and beyond again!! I had another amazing staff member help me with a very large order for our family her name was Matey (sp?). She was absolutely AMAZING!!
