Great experience here. Bought a grill to surprise my husband. Was assembled but wouldn't fit in my car. Rick assured me I could build it, and he was right. I did it alone with a little help from my 8 year old nephew.

Employee named Matthew was VERY helpful in explaining the differences between their knife sharpeners. He came up to me without me asking and took his time. I was very much undecided and not knowledgeable about what I was looking for. Matthew took his time unboxing and explaining each sharpener, what they were good for, etc. He was extremely helpful and I went from spending only $6 potentially to happily walking out with a $55 or so purchase. Very good employee!

This is great place to buy all your sporting, fishing, hunting, camping, and any adventure item you need! They have a great stock of fishing items, hunting items, canoes, kayaks, grills, smokers, coolers, sporting equipment, everything you need for camping. You definitely will find that item you must have for your next excursion! The store is well kept, the bathrooms are clean, items are stocked, and the staff is great.

The staff Brandi, Ricky and Patrick, all help out so much. We had a return that they had a hell of a time finding seeing we didn't have a recite and the item didn't have a barcode. And the only other one didn't have one other. But they were able to help us. They took their time and were great about the whole thing

5 guys came and helped load into my van and a great guy name Uriah stayed behind and helped with rope and etc to secure the van..

I mean this place has everything you'd ever need to play a sport from shoes to clothes to equipment. Also have many things for outdoor activities!!!

Academy sports is certainly a chain outdoors store. They have an amazing range of clothing, and their generic brand is usually a great option. There’s never a long wait here, but I can almost always find what I’m looking for

I found a few good deals. No doubt I will be returning in the near future.

If you need anything for sports it's the place to go and they treat you like family

Great sale today and was greeted at the front door by a team member who asked if I needed to be directed to a section of the store. This was just what I needed, where are the outside folding Chairs! Found just what I was looking for. If you are looking for ammo, they have a limit of 2 boxes per person per day and they seem to enforce this. The store was very clean!

I was looking for a kayak paddle and that's what they had. Plenty to choose from, affordable prices. Restrooms are super modern and very clean. Well let's store, well organized, friendly staff. Love my new kayak paddle!

Love it! They have everything you need for any sport you play. It's great. Plus they have great sales.

Such a friendly staff. Handled my issue with the club perfectly. The Clark was able to rub the shaft until she got it off. I have never had an issue with a price tag like that.

Staff was amazing, the young lady standing upfront makes a big difference on a customer service level and the gentlemen I made contact with in the shoe was helpful without giving that stalking feel. The tactical/LEO/EMS shoe selection needs more up to date public safety shoes Galls online and 5.11 should not be the go to place for style and a fair price. It should be Academy Sports. And if mgmt is paying attention with the new Nine Line / Black Rifle store opening 6 doors down and serving hot coffee there should be your corporate buyers time to rethink and revamp current trends in tees and public safety clothing. I love Academy Sports so please don't drop the ball for the hardworking consumer. Hint look into Salomon Shoes.
