The secret to eating in Cordele

After completing a 9 hour drive down I-75, heading home to FLA, we were ready for drinks and food- and a return to 16East in Cordele, GA

We are repeat attendees

Great atmosphere, service, responsiveness ,and the staff was constantly on the move.

THE outstanding part of the night was
Miss Jessica, the bartender!! Absolutely on top of everything- great temperament and a bar pro

Besides just alcohol, we thoroughly enjoyed the salads, signature house smothered chicken, great sauté zucchini and beef tips with mushrooms, onion and gravy

Ohhh, my awesome place ,delicious Oysters. My favorite was with garlic butter. I had to order twice soooo delicious , visiting the area from Miami

Stopped here on a road trip for lunch since it’s near an Electrify America charging station. I’m so glad we did! Excellent service and probably the best buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had. My husband got the chicken sandwich which he said was also great. Affordable drink selection, nice kids menu, and even changing tables in the men’s restroom rounded out a very positive experience! Would recommend and plan to stop here again if driving through Cordele in the future!

We were there towards closing so sat around the bar. Kendra is an excellent bar tender, and she makes fabulous Christmas margaritas! The menu is quite diverse so will find something you like but is possibly needing a bit of focus to make the dishes great, not just good. Plenty of seating available, and a good covered area outside for private parties. Good location, close to multiple motels.

We live in Tampa FL, and stopped for the night in Cordelle. We are glad we did, we might make the trip again just to come by 16 East. The food was excellent, we had frog legs for our appetizer, my wife had salmon and I had a hamburger steak that was the best I've ever had! Jessica was the sweetest bartender you could ask for, when she called my wife hunny and ma'am in the same sentence, she won us over. We'll be back every time we venture up I-75

We were traveling and looking for a nice dinner. 16 East was recommended by our hotel, and it did not disappoint. Our server was very personable, attentive, and gave good suggestions. Our food was as great, timely, and the margaritas yummy. Nice casual atmosphere.

This place is awesome if your in town, the food was great my server Kimberly was phenomenal the price is about average for the type of place it is. Overall 10/10 experience

The chopped steak with sautéed cabbage and fries was spectacular! Bartender was very friendly and the vibe was chill. Great spot for a good time and some good music. Was gonna give it only 4 stars due to the small TVs (only 3 of them…) but service and food were so good I have to give it 5 stars!!!

This was our 1st time there. Our visit was very pleasant. It was around 7:30 and we were hungry. Our server Shantae was very good. She was very happy to serve us. It didn't take long for our food to arrive at our table. We were in and out just outside an hour. We will definitely be back. Our server made us feel right at home, even though we do not live in Cordele. The restaurant is .03 from Interstate 75 on the right on Hwy. 280. They are open until 10 pm. They serve lunch and dinner. See y'all next time we are in your town.

Some of the best food ever. Traveling through and found this gem.
Our party had the French onions soup, baked potato soup, steak, salmon, smothered chicken, fried/grilled pork chops. Everything we had was AMAZING. The sautéed cabbage was amazing as well as their house 16dressing.

Our waitress was so sweet and recommendations were perfect!!!

I had the best French onion at this place. And the prices very reasonable

This place has a really nice atmosphere… my waitress, Trenecia was the best! She was very informative and attentive. Such a sweet young lady. The shrimp tacos were sooooo yummy! Hope to visit again real soon.

Traveling through on my way to Atl…and this place is a good mix of bar food and restaurants food..Jordan and Jessica did a great job…get here before 6pm…loved the locals and how friendly everyone is…
Food was good it’s seems like everyone orders the oysters and steaks… it all looks good. I will be back.

Happy with our stop here, especially since it felt like 107 degrees on the bikes and their air-conditioning was kicking! We had an adult beverage and a quesidilla.

Great place to eat. So much better than all the fast food options around!

To start, we had a bourbon and Bahama Mama.  The drinks were excellent.

Our dining selections were fresco pasta chicken, frog legs, shrimp, house salad, and sweet potato fries.  I cannot express how excellent the fog legs were.  Fry chef, Mr. Addie did a most excellent job and this young man knows the subtitles of successful food frying!  We really enjoyed the food and this restaurant was a surprising delightful find in Cordele.  Ms. Shonte was a delight to have as our server.

Back in Cordele, or passing through and hungry?  We are there!

I had a hamburger and fries. Both were delicious. The hamburger meat is ground in house and the fries had some kind of coating which was delicious. Our server was Rilee and I couldn't ask for a friendlier more attentive waitress.

Wonderful experience. The burger was amazing!! The shrimp tacos were FABULOUS!! The homemade chips were to die for!! I would eat here ANYTIME! Our waiter was great, I wish I could remember his name. I would drive over to Cordele just to enjoy a meal here. It's a must try!

Food choices were good as well as the tastes was great. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome.

We were told to try this place because we were in town and it did not disappoint the food was good thevwaitress Jordan is awesome we sat on the patio all by ourselves it was a screened in with the lights and the fan going and we had a drink that was called oh my gosh I forgot..a reason to live yes the reason to live oh my goodness everything was awesome my shrimp was awesome it was awesome it would definitely have to come back to Cordell just for the rest of my life that's where the restaurant is off I hope talks text at this point yeah
