Tom and Sandy's Horseshoe Restaurant

This is the best and the epitome of what country cooking and service is all about. I drive about 30 minutes to eat here and it’s worth it. The food is delicious and has that old school taste. I’m glad I don’t live in Hawkinsville because I’d eat there several days a week. And the prices are very reasonable.

We are SO GLAD we choose this cozy place to pause and eat before continuing our journey. The servers are all friendly and work together to serve everyone. They have 3 food bars/stations: Salad, Hot Foods, and Dessert. The salad bar lettuces & vegetables were VERY FRESH and the bar included classics like carrot salad, broccoli salad and a pasta salad with a lot of dressing choices.
The Hot Foods had assorted wings, roasted chicken and fried catfish to so light and fluffy it practically melted in your mouth. It offered a variety of sides like green beans, baked beans, coleslaw, biscuits, cornbread, boiled potatoes, peas, grits, etc. The modest little Dessert Bar was completely covered with with single servings of pecan pie, brownies, and banana pudding. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will make plans to stop there in the future!

We had our Easter lunch here today and it was delicious! Everything we tried was amazing. The staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is fantastic for home cooked meals. The service is outstanding, and I love the buffet is delicious. I will go back for a Sunday lunch.

Had a great experience for breakfast. Even though they were a bit overwhelmed by so many meals stay to the wonderful job Candace and Melissa we thank you for putting up with us. And people were lined out for the chicken and y'all handled all of what you had going on to go. Thank you for the great experience of small town living and lunchtime

Best restaurant we have been in our travels in at least 5 states Ga Fla Ala SC or NC. We love Tom and Sandy's Horseshoe Restaurant.

Although the restaurant being out in the sticks.. The food was buffet style right out of the magazine ... Excellent flavors and Seasonings.. But the two wait staff... Beautiful personality and tried to make us feel right at home... Very nice place

Their food is always so good!! If you want some good country eating stop in & see them. You will love it!

Went for the 1st time and had the Saturday breakfast buffet. Food was delicious and quickly replaced with hot and fresh food, SERVICE WAS THE MOST FRIENDLY OUTSTANDING SERVICE WE HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY RESTAURANT. CANDACE WAS FANTASTIC!!!! WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND... MAKES THE ABSOLUTELY MOST DELICIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE.. NO PACKET HERE.... HOMEMADE. THANK YOU!! EVERYONE HAD THE FRIENDLIEST ATTITUDE. IT'S THIS KIND OF SERVICE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL HAPPY AND WANT TO GO BACK,. WE WILL BE BACK TOMORROW FOR THEIR SUNDAY BUFFET. CAN'T WAIT... OUTSTANDING... SO GLAD WE WENT.

Such a great surprise! A local family style restaurant that we found while visiting in Georgia that offered typical southern style/grilled foods at a more than reasonable price. I believe the waitress that assisted us was named Debbie (but I can't be sure) and she was a sheer delight! So pleasant, helpful, and quick on her feet to ensure that we were more than satisfied customers. And to the cooks: thank you for my tasty grilled cheese and sweet potato fries and the delicious patty melt (as I had to steal a bite) that my husband ordered.

Super pleased with the Saturday breakfast, feels like eating at Mama's, not rushed like the Huddle House. The Club Sandwich is divine, the cinnamon rolls are special just feels right

Cute little place, real homey. There is a different item featured on the buffet everyday, so I will have to go back soon. The pecan pie was heavenly.

We have been enjoying the Ready Set Go Meals for the past couple of weeks! Amazing! The food is delicious and such a variety that you could order a different meal everyday for a month. Great price and convenient pickup and prep! It has made this working Mama one happy camper!

My first experience with Tom and Sandy's was when I ordered some of the RSTGO meals from them, and they were delicious. So, when I found out they also served on Thanksgiving day at the restaurant, I bragged to my family about how good the meals I had ordered were. So, we went for Thanksgiving buffet, and let me tell you!!! Everything was wonderful! The food was outstanding, the service was great, and Sandy circulated, speaking to everyone. 2019 might have been our first time, but it definitely will not be the last time! I can't say enough how good their food is! Thanks to the whole staff!

We were just passing through and was wanting to have breakfast at a local hometown restaurant instead of going to the normal chain restaurant. Found this place via Google maps. It was closer to lunch time and they had a lunch buffet set up. But we asked about breakfast and was given a menu to select the breakfast options. The food, service and atmosphere of this place was great. Would definitely eat here again given the opportunity.

Absolute best dressing, vegetables and fried chicken you ever had!! My hubby says it "will make your tongue slap your eyeballs, it's that good!"
And an awesome salad and dessert bar too!
Sit on the porch and rock a bit before you leave, you will need a rest!!😉
Worth the drive from wherever you are... great food and friendly folks!!

Very good place to eat. I love the variety of meats, vegetables, breads and desserts that they have on the buffet. We have been there on Saturday morning and their breakfast buffet is fantastic.
