Gus's Restaurant

Such a delightful surprise walking into Gus’s this morning! Delicious homemade cooking, great service and variety of dishes! Can’t wait to come back and try more; we had eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and pancakes! So good!!!

Excellent place to eat in Folsom. Great lunch specials. The employees there really care about their customers and are extremely nice. A+

A++++ My only complaint is how busy they're getting... Word is getting out.. Best food in town... Two cooks that work like they're best friends every day all day... Waitresses rocking it...Dont Forget to tip Sam !!!

Today was the first time me and my wife had ever eaten at Gus's. The food was to die for. Most everyone was nice. I will be going back.

Great southern food, and very friendly service. One of our guests was unfamiliar with the seasoning and decided they didn't like it, so the server replaced it without hesitation. Very friendly people and good food.
The only downside to anything was that they had hushpuppies on the menu, but they were actually corn fritters. Such a tiny thing that they still get 5 stars. If you're ever going through this tiny town, definitely take a moment to stop in.

It isn't a 5 star restaurant, but we love the country style food. They have Greek options in addition to southern comfort fare. Consistently good and prices are reasonable.

Food was awesome. Workers are very polite. If you like a family/comfortable place to eat then this is the place to go.

If you've been through Folsom you know it's not a big town. That being said if you want a bite to eat you gotta stop at Gus's! For such a small place and low key environment I loved the food I had! My burger was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy. The fires had that perfect texture (not too soft and not top crispy). There was a good variety of food options on the menu - all at fair prices. Items came quickly enough to allow this to be a solid stop for lunch without worrying it'll take too long. No question I'm going to eat here again next time I'm in Folsom for lunch!

8 of us showed up for lunch. We had food 10 minutes after ordering. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The salad was a little skimpy, but very fresh lettuce. Everything else was superb, especially the Liver and Onions.

Passed thru Folsom got the rib eye and eggs...delicious

If you are looking for the best home cooked meal with great people, Gus's is definitely the best place to get it!! Amazing food and family like atmosphere! Gus's is by far one of my favorite spots to eat.

. I had the breakfast. Eggs, toast, sausage, hashbrowns. Yum! Every bit of every bite was good. It filled me up. The coffee was good too. It is a busy place. I was alone, listening to an audio book, and had to turn up the volume just a wee bit because of all of the conversations. Lots of people talking, lot of people having a good time, and from the looks of the other tables, lots of good eats. A big Thumbs-Up !

I really enjoyed the food, especially the shrimp. Everything was freshly hand battered. I had a cheeseburger and it was amazing!!! I know you can't go wrong with cheeseburgers but i was really impressed by this one! We came in like 10 minutes to close but didn't realize until we ordered our food. There were 9 of us and we all felt terrible; however, noone was annoyed and everyone treated us nicely & the food was perfection! This was our first stop from Global Wildlife, so we were just looking for somewhere to eat, but I know I will come back to Folsom just to eat here! They have all sorts of things om the menu; cheeseburgers, spaghetti & meatballs, pork roast, poboys, breakfast platters & sandwiches, chicken parmasean, etc. Great place!

Met some friends there on a Sunday at lunch, not overly crowded and had a table available to seat 9 of us. I had the. Chicken fried steak and it was well worth the trip, not overly expensive either. Plan on going back soon.
