Great time at Slabtown last week. Steve and Maggie are great owners and fixing the camp up nicely. Great time on the trails with lots of destinations to go see.

Wonderful trails, absolutely loved "Balancing Rock" "The Cove" and a lovely cave.
The campground was spotless, had fire pits & natural shade. The stalls were great I loved the cowboy gates!
Maggie and Steve are fantastic hosts, Maggie took us out on a long guided ride she is great company

We stayed the Memorial Day weekend, 3 nights at Slabtown. Our friends arrived with a flat tire and a leaking tire on their trailer. As they were checking in Steve had taken off the flat. He drove to town and got the tire patched for our friends. The entire weekend was marked by this pleasant hospitality. Steve & Maggie are horse people who will ride with you and help you to have the most pleasant horse camp experience. Maggie guided us on a wonderful 5 hour ride and also gave us nice directions for us to have an unguided 6 hour ride the next day. The sites are bigger and they are on track to improve all the stalls. The owners are dedicated to making campers a good horse camp experience. Definitely worth a visit to Slab town Horse camp and riding the Paddy Creek

Camp owners helped us change a trailer tire and get it fixed, then helped us with a second leaky tire. Everything was in good working order, and the owner rode with us the first day on the cleared trails, no charge. The Map was very helpful, and other campers were friendly. Stalls were good, as was the shower house. Our dog was comfortable in our shady site.

Really nice variety of trails. Steve has been putting a lot of time and effort improving every aspect of the place. Working on new and upgrading old stalls. He and Maggie are great fun.

This place was awesome, Steve and his wife are amazing guides and so knowledgeable of the area. It’s also only one mile from Slabtown Bluff trail, which has a beautiful bluff and a huge cave underneath.

Really good riding. Stalls need a little work but they did their job. All in all, we'd definitely go again.

Nice trails. Bring extra cords or hoses set up is further behind the trailers. Stalls are still a big work in progress. Also bring cash or checks. No debit or ATM town is pretty far off.
