The Engineer Trail Is Great! I used to go running and walking on this trail a lot, and it was awesome. The scenery is beautiful and the trail is a good long length, and they have stations for you to do other upper body and lower body exercises which is very good. Without doubt The Engineer Trail is awesome, and is worth going to. Have a great day!

After a long day in class, this is probably one of the best places to blow off some steam. I recommend you exercise without any headphones on, because you get to experience the sound of nature! Some of the denser areas in the summer evenings have nats which get annoying, but again, it’s a great place to walk, run, or even spend some quality time thinking!

I always love it when I get a chance to hit the Engineer Trail at Fort Leonard Wood. A 2.6 mile loop of largely climbs or descents with short stretches of flat mixed in to settle your heart rate. The decomposed granite surface keeps it in great shape in all but the heaviest of downpours. They do a very good job of removing fallen trees and maintaining the bridges and drainage as well. If you want a great way to start your day or to decompress at the end of the day this is definitely the trail to run when you are on this post.

This trail on Fort Leonard Wood is a fantastic 2.5 Mile trek deep into the woods. There is only a brief uphill climb, nothing that serious.

The best part is 99% of it is easily walked with a baby stroller. Theres just one very short part of loose stone.

It's actually a well designed fitness course with stations throughout the entire course.

This is a nice, kept up fitness trail. 2.6 miles long, elevation changes and different exercise stations along the entire path. Trail has good width to it as well so passing others or being passed is no issue.

Clean and enjoyable. I couldn't do all of the challenges along the way, but it is a clever way to get in multi-fitness opportunities.
