Sparks Restaurant

What is there not to love about these small country town restaurants that harken back to the days when life just seem to move a little slower and everyone you met gave you a friendly hello or politely nodded their head to you?

This restaurant takes you right back to those days where everyone working there had a warm, friendly smile when they greeted you, and they made you feel right at home.

We came for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The white gravy smothered over the biscuits was to die for good. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order. Good ole home made grits, toast and sausages rounded out a terrfic meal for us. The portions were generous, and we concluded this would be our one meal for the day.

We love this place! They aren’t open on Saturday’s even though the signs says 6-2 and website. Wish they would fix that.

We went to Sparks on lunch one day, and I was not expecting the food to be as good as it was. Everything was perfect. I had butterfly shrimp with green beans(fresh, not canned), and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is to die for. Usually restaurant mac and cheese is not very good, but this place 👌 best I've ever had. And the cake. Absolutely delicious. It was moist, soft, and fresh. The price mightve been the best part. All the food was delicious. The portions were more than enough. And it was cheaper than a meal at burger King. I'll definitely be going back.

Wonderful experience here. We stayed at the Sparks Drive Inn Bed & Breakfast and had our morning meal here (part of the package).

Sweet local business with wonderful people and comfortable, homey and we'll appointed amenities.

If you are hungry or need a place to stay the night, you'll be doing yourself an injustice if you pass this place up!

(If you have a sweet tooth, try the biscuits with chocolate gravy.)

Home cooking resturant! Nothing fancy but the food was excellent! Will eat here again when around this area for Motorhome maintenance.

On the recommendation of Scott at Tiffin I stopped to pick up some breakfast. It was everything he said it would be and more. The biscuits are the best I think I've ever had. Not an exaggeration! I was told to try the chocolate gravy and biscuits. As my brain is telling me brown gravy my mouth is screaming chocolate! It's an interesting experience to say the least but certainly one I recommend. If you like sweet then it's a MUST! very very good! The husband had a deluxe omelet, and eaten before I got a picture. He said it was really good and super filling. If you are in the area for any reason the Sparks restaurant is a must stop for sure.

It's got great food, great service and I love the morning breakfast. It's my favorite Diner in the area.

Great Restaurant and a Great Bed & Breakfast, too. That is conveniently located across the street from the restaurant. We will stay there again next bass tournament.

A different kind of place. Great food but the place could stand a good cleaning and some reorganization. It's an older well established business.....and it shows . Some TLC is needed...

A great food resturant with friendly workers and food like grandma's. We go often when in the ares. Its a must for lunch..meat and 3 with dessert and drink at very reasonal prices. A must go lunch place.

Oh, the biscuits were heavenly. Good satisfying food in a not fancy down home setting. Friendly staff! Tomorrow I'm going to pick up some of the yummy looking cake! Say hi to all the locals at the "smart" table.

Found this little diner while on a business trip and boy was I glad I stopped. The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone was so kind and the desserts was great also. I will definitely be back!
