Good ole fashion country BBQ served up in a rustic little diner in the town of Belmont, MS.

You know the food is going to be good long before you get across the parking lot. The aromas from the BBQ pit will greet you right after you open your car door.

This is the kind of no frills BBQ place that we look for when cruising around the countryside. Our food was brought out to us in a styrafoam box with plastic flatware prewrapped with a napkin on the table. Drinks are served up in styafoam cups.

I ordered the brisket plate with my two sides being fried Orka and baked beans. My wife ordered the Rib Plate (4 ribs) with the same sides. I also ordered a basket of onion rings for us to share. I ordered sweet tea but had to cut back to unsweet for the refill. The sweet tea was a bit too sweet for me.

We had two BBQ sauces to choose from. A tangy spicy sauce and a sweeter milder thick sauce. Both were very good.

The food was every bit as good as we expected. Everything was served up with
a warm smile and friendly service.

Better get here early for lunch. There are only six or seven tables. We arrived at 11:30 and two tables were already occupied. By the time we left, diners were waiting for a table to be available. Clearly, this is a place all of the local flock to.

Credit cards and, of course, cash is accepted.

This small restaurant, in different forms and under different owners, has been serving food in this building for at least six decades, and in every variation the food has been good.

They are very generous with their meat portions. I had the pulled pork and added sausage. The meat was good and the sides were excellent, desert great, friendly people, and wonderful history.

Stopped in after being in the area for a few days. We didn't have to wait to be seated for lunch. We ordered and food was brought to us in a timely manner. Food was prepared good. Barbecue was good and portions were good also. Had a smoked bologna sandwich and it was very good. If you are traveling through. I would stop in and try this mom and pop restaurant.

I am from KC and found this to still be some of the best brisket I have tasted. The flavor was amazing and the brisket was very tender. The sides of fried okra and onion rings were also some of the best we have tasted. We also had the loaded Tator tots.Amazing.

Among the best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! Their sweet and spicy sauce was quite different and very good. Everything was well prepared, not too expensive for what you get, and service was great. The old building adds to the charm.

We try to eat here once a week. They have great brisket and ribs. The loaded fries are awesome also.

Omg!! We stopped in on one of our many bike riding adventures, and let me tell you something here!!! This little place had some of the best food I have EVER ate!! The portions were huge!!, the service was great!!!, I could go on and on, but I'm telling you, STOP IN THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!

Food was good, we got there right when it opened and it took about 30 minutes to receive the food.

So happy about our decision to drive 10 minutes from where our Tiffin was being serviced to eat here! The barbecue sandwich and ribs were so super delicious and fried okra yummy! Service was great! It is worth going to eat here even though it is very old but yummy food! Nice friendly people!

This place is so amazing! The food is hot, fresh, and delicious! This establishment has been a part of my childhood and the great folks that bought it are absolutely doing a fantastic job with everything! I had the Vance burger and my daughter had "the best chicken fingers ever"! We also got a salted caramel milkshake and I was immediately transported to heaven at the first sip! It was such a lovely dining experience and we will be going back!

My husband and I decided to stop and try the BBQ here. Their sign said it was made fresh “smoked” daily and we thought hmmm but when we pulled up we saw a man on the front porch working with the smoker and we would have to say that it was as fresh as it gets!! We ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and a pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was delicious!!! The meat was super tender and flavorful! They had their own special homemade BBQ sauce with a little kick to it - delicious! They serve a large amount of fries as well. We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a delicious BBQ meal. We ordered our food around 1:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Hope you give this place a try!

Food was outstanding! Service is excellent. They also sell homemade pies to die for. I've had upside-down pineapple cake and would go back just for it . Strongly recommended to stop by this hidden gem.

They grind their own burger meat, smoked their own chicken, pork, and ribs, and make their own desserts. Best lunch we Memphians have had in a long time. Great little family owned local restaurant. I wish them all great success!!

Was in Red Bay, AL and decided to go exploring. We ended up in Belmont and next thing you know we were overwhelmed with that sweet fragrance from the smoker. We walked in and decided to try two Pulled Pork Sandwiches and a side of fries and tots. The Sandwiches were awesome. They were juicy and tender, and very flavorful. We elected to get the slaw on both, and their homemade sweet and spicy bbq. The sides were very plentiful, we probably should have ordered one. Great little place we will visit when we come back through to get work done on our Tiffin.
