Simon Audiology & Tinnitus

My wife and I both went in for hearing tests. The facility is very clean and comfortable and staff was very courteous and helpful. Dr. Simon really seems to know what she is doing and is very compassionate. It appears I can benefit from hearing enhancement, but there was no hard sell. Dr. Simon explained some of the options with pros and cons of each and was happy to answer questions. My feeling is that she will fit me with the system that will give me the most improvement for the money.

I have been treated by Simon Audiology & Tinnitus for over a year at this point for my Tinnitus and they have made my experience well worth going there. The staff is both knowledgeable and caring. Whatever issue I am having they use their expertise and fix it. I highly recommend them.

These folks are absolutely wonderful. My step is a handful. They were incredibly patient with her. The tried different options, got on the phone with the manufacturers they did everything they could with kindness and thoughtfulness. My stepmom ended up not getting any hearing aides. They could have pushed a hard sale or gotten bad attitudes for all the time they had invested. Instead, they quickly gave us a refund. I really appreciate their patience work and can do attitude.

The staff was very friendly. Doctor is very friendly, and knowledgeable. No pressure to purchase a hearing aid, very good explanations of tests, hearing aids and services.

Ann is wonderful as is her staff. She understands about tinnitus, the anxiety and fear when it gets worse. I would be lost without her. I am so thankful for her expertise and compassion.

Great place with great people! Listens and hears/understands what you need and want. Helps you understand how hearing aids work, how they can help you and which products best fit your needs and budget. Great follow up! And I love how inclusive everything is, no nickel and dime-ing my pocket book for check up’s. Answers all my questions and never makes me feel rushed. They are extremely knowlegeble, kind, and make you feel like you are part of the family. After contemplating a couple years on making the call, I finally decided it was time to learn more about tinnitus and my hearing. From the initial phone interview with Jeff, to the exam by Dr Simon, and the instruction by the hearing tech....this is a first class operation!!! Just meeting these people was a pleasure...but walking out of the office, hearing sounds I'd all but forgotten was ecstacy.

Simon audiology did a fabulous job with my little guy who has tons of sensory issues! Anne made everything a fun game for him and was super patient. She was able to accomplish complete and accurate testing, and he actually left saying he was coming back! They all treated us like friends, yet also very professionally. After over a decade of losing my hearing, I read an article in the Lewiston Tribune that featured Dr. Simon. I had tried to have my hearing improved by going to hearing aid salespeople, with no success as my hearing slowly grew worse. The article awakened me to how my life had changed and I withdrew into a solitary state since I could no longer hear much of what people said to me, especially when there was background noise. On Thursday, Dr. Simon gave me an audiological examination. She pointed out to me the major problems in my hearing and measures which hopefully will improve my hearing. She explained the differences in hearing aids and how one will deal with low sounds better than the others while other aids will deal with other levels of sound. I never considered how complex fitting a hearing aid to one's hearing could be, but Dr. Simon was the person to have the audio training and research necessary to recommend an aid that hopefully will help me to once again blend into a social setting in which I can share my thoughts since I heard what the conversation was about. I am anxious to receive my new hearing aids that have been professionally selected and fit for my hearing loss. Dr. Simon has given me hope to return to a conversational level and to ease the frustration that I have caused to my wife and others who I could not hear because of my audio loss. And maybe I should have a t-shirt made bearing this notice: Beware, I have hearing aids that work. I will hold you responsible for every word you say. Hooray: the sun will shine once again.

I so appreciate the quality and compassionate care Dr. Simon gives me each time I visit. It makes no difference whether it's for a regular scheduled check or a call to see her because something is hampering my ability to hear as well as I know I should be able too! Their caring ability to put you at ease as they professionally diagnose your hearing problems and get you back into the full swing of your life, is the best!
