Small Town Coffee Roasters

Every morning when I drop my babies off for day care at Rosey Lane &Grooming Kennel, Josh always tells me to stop at Small Town Coffee Roasrers. OMG. I should’ve listened the first time. I order one coffe and one latte just for me. So delicious. I love the Mexican mocha. Perfect amount of heat. Love the barista polite and knowledgeable, owner very friendly. GREAT VIBE. I’ll be back.

In town for a few days with one of my besties and her family. I needed a little me time and the coffee pot at the Air BnB had gone out sooooo this coffee drinker went looking for a good place to get some brew.
There were a few options in Rutherfordton that came up on my search and I looked at pictures and reviews of each. But Small Town just looked like my kind of place.

Best choice I could have made!
Jay was excellent and aided me in my choice of order. I learned a little about the owner and the on-premises roasting of the coffee (which is so uncommon these days and very exciting to find in small town NC).

Everything about the atmosphere and decor drew me in and was absolutely soothing. The music, colors, items for sale, and especially the little selection of books on one of the windowsills 🌺

I had a Tall macchiato with Mocha and Caramel syrup and a homemade peach scone. Literally the best macchiato and most delicious scone I have ever had in my life!!
I'm still here for another day and a half so I will absolutely be back one more time before I go back to Florida 😁

The only spot I get my beans from! Also I'm in online grad school, so I have to get creative to stay interested. I love my weekly school work days on Sundays while Liz is working!

If you are looking for good coffee in Rutherford County then this is your place! The best coffee and service around. Small seating area inside with larger seating area outside. Located right off Main Street in Rutherfordton so easy access for a stroll around town.

We stopped here for coffee while we were on vacation, and they had us coming back almost every day! Seriously, we went here 4-5 times on a 5 day trip. They roast the coffee in house, and have a surprisingly wide variety of roasts and blends. We tried various drinks, and they were all phenomenal. We bought a container of beans before heading home, and it has been delicious. Try this place if you haven't yet!

Hidden gem! I had to stop for my local coffee fix on the way back from upper NC. I was happily surprised to find gluten free treats! The espresso in the latte was so rich and delicious, especially with caramel. Will be back next time we’re in the area! 👍🏻

Such a cool coffee spot. Definitely support local. I don't live in the area but when I go to the farmers market in town from time to time, I make sure to stop in by. Find them on FB as they post things that are going on.

Most importantly, they have what you'd expect a real coffee spot to have.

Great first time visit! Purchased two cold brews for my wife and myself which were delicious! We chose the coffee ice cubes which is an absolutely brilliant option! The female employee on Saturday April 15th was the ideal employee: welcoming and friendly when we first walked in and polite throughout the entire experience. So many younger employees are just staring at their phones so often and it was great to see an employee who was eager to do her job and was a great representative for the company! We will definitely return and next time buy some coffee to brew at home, although we don’t think it’s possible to make it as good as in-store!

I am blown away to find this incredible gem just moments off the main drag, tucked off to the side, cuddled up in my parking spot to walk into the incredible aromas of roasting coffee and an earl gray chocolate cake with lavender icing. I'M SORRY. WHAT. Yeah. I needed a 3pm pick-me-up and this place fit the bill so well it almost seems like it dropped outta heaven and onto the corner in "Ruffton." Between the fantastic cuppa to the unreal baked goods to the kindness in the service staff and wifi password, I can't WAIT until my next stop through town. #bulkingseason

Strolling through Downtown Rutherford (-Tony, town?? Still confused) and stumbled on this gem just off main. Roasted in-house with several different roasts to choose from. Grab a cup of coffee, espresso, latte, or tea and take home some fresh roasted beans! Great service, deck outside to stop and enjoy, and the coffee was fantastic.

This is some of the best coffee I have ever had anywhere in the world. Technically well done and a lovely team, caring and beautiful.

Love it ☕☕🤎🤎!! Cappuccino, Mocha, fresh baked goods or just a fresh ground cup of coffee! Quaint, local coffee house with happy smiling faces 😊. Must try. Highly recommend. My new favorite place ☕😊.

I usually just drink my coffee black, so I don't go to a lot of coffee shops. I was hitting an afternoon slump, and needed a quick pick me up, so I stopped by here for the first time.

It was easy to find a parking space. I have a hard time describing what I want to drink (I'm dairy free and sugar free), but the man working today was very patient and understanding. I don't know if I ever will learn all of the coffee lingo!

The drink was perfect. The espresso was just right, and my drink hit the spot. It definitely put some pep in my step!

This is a great place to grab a quick cup of coffee, and bring the kids with you if need be!

The gentleman at the front was wonderful, and the coffee tasted great. We really enjoyed our time there!

My Fiancé and I are visiting and we felt right at home in this awesome Coffee Shop! They serve great coffee in many different varieties. They had a Vegan Cherry Tart that was absolutely DELICIOUS! All the staff and the owners are super friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome here and they helped us see all the local parks and trails! They are definitely small town friendly here. I highly recommend.

Knowledgeable barista making quality coffee. No burned milk, sour shots, etc. Picked up a bag of their house espresso blend for the machine at home

Amazing coffee, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. I feel welcome and I have a good time whether I come with a friend or spend the afternoon by myself. This coffee shop feels like one of those cozy places straight out of a book or movie. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

I had not drunk such flavorsome coffee in a very long time!! Great service, coffee, and books to read - even for little children!!
