Southern Wayne High School

I am a student here and I will tell you straight. Students here are not perfect and they can sometimes make bad decisions. No high school is perfect there will never be such a thing. The teachers here are great. Don't let anybody tell you different. Everyone knows by now that teachers don't get paid crap. But instead of leaving and quitting to go do a better job, they stay and help us. In the end you know that they are not doing for the pay.

This school doesn't suck despite what people say, yes there are some rude jerks and idiots but that's like every school and there is bullying but it's not a terrible school like some people make it out to be. It's not perfect but high school is what u make of it anyway.

Good place to go to school at. Teachers make sure students get what they need done, done.
They also strive for excellence.

SWHS is a good school, did better here then my old high school

ok so im a student at this school and it you choose to put your child here you are nuts these teachers do not teach at all a math teacher here dosent give notes and then fails kids when they cant perform a math test correctly. This school is full of fights and possible threats of harm we have had a shooting threat and a bomb threat already this year. The staff are extremely rude and the students have no respect for authority , i suffer from depression now because of this school and how many things i have been through please do not enroll your child here it will be a mistake. we have also had one fight where a females clothes got ripped off and she had to fight topless against them so think about that as well

I am a current student, I have no good comments about SWHS it's been a living hell, it's not a bully free school , kids that eat at the patio are picked on, lunch lady's are the only nice people out here 🕳The only way you pass here if you are a teachers pet and the teacher like you. There is nothing lower than a one star to rate this place.
