Great experience flying with Russ Keith in his beautiful Cessna 140! I was in the area for work and have been wanting to fly a Cessna 120/140 for quite some time and discovered Keith's Aviation Training. Russ Keith was incredibly flexible with my schedule as work and weather forced our plans to change multiple times. I already have my Tail Wheel endorsement and fly helicopters for a living, but try to build a little more FW/TW time here and there. I got exactly what I was looking for with Russ and hope that work brings me by his way again so I can spend a bit more time in the pattern in either of his beautiful aircraft.

Russ' career in multiple airframes and as an experienced instructor was evident before we even got airborne. He was very professional and his instruction was spot on and helped me knock off the rust and improve my tail wheel landings. His pricing was incredibly fair and straightforward.

Having wasted time and money at other flight training locations throughout the country on occasion to stay current/proficient (I don't own a plane right now), I can say you will not go wrong training with Russ. Highly Recommend!!

I recently completed my tailwheel endorsement with Russ and we knocked it out within one evening. I decided to drive to Altus, OK from the Texas panhandle due to his professionalism over the phone and willingness to reschedule over three weeks due to weather. We finally met for the lesson and spent a brief twenty minutes in the classroom for a review of the ground school material before jumping in his Cessna 170A for taxi practice. He walked me through every step and even gave tips over things I would never have considered. The flying portion went well and we were back on the ground before sunset.

I could not recommend Keith’s enough and his proper and concise instruction made the whole process enjoyable from takeoff to taxi.

What a fantastic experience!!! I recently completed my Private Pilots License in Altus with Keith's Aviation Training. I am pleased to say that every step of the way, I felt incredibly prepared.

The instructor is Russ Keith. He is also a current civilian instructor teaching Air Force pilots. He brings all that knowledge and experience when he is training in his Cessna. After much thought, I chose this training program because Russ has a tailwheel aircraft. In the process of getting my PPL, I also received a tailwheel aircraft endorsement. If you are thinking about getting your pilot license or adding a tailwheel endorsement, I cannot say enough good things about this program.

Jesse and JS (us "J" name people stick together haha) really have hit the nail on the Head. Russ has taken me from Start to Finish on my journey to earning my wings as a Private Pilot He lead me on this journey starting out as the instructor of ground school through WOSC to the final lesson prior to my check ride completed 15 months start to finish - an FAA medical issue being the only delay not surprisingly for a 54 year old. Russ has a built in ability to know how to keep you in the game even when your not sure and never once made me feel unsafe or unable to learn and was always respectful and encouraging. His years of experience and enthusiasm for aviation are priceless qualities that he willingly shares. Thank you Russ for a wonderful experience and we will continue to work together on this continuous journey.

Exceptional pilot training. Mr. Keith is a truly great pilot, and time after time went out of his way to accommodate my training needs. Highly recommend him, his airplanes, and his team of instructors!
