Kiwanis Park

Cute park. Well kept and clean. Restrooms were closed when I visited. Has swings, tunnel, rock climbing, slides, trail.

We rode our bicycles to this park on the greenway. It was lovely, clean and not crowded. There was not a whole lot for toddler age to do, though.

Lovely green space with remodeled playground and nicely paved walking path around the perimeter. Great place for a picnic lunch while passing through town!

Very nice. Grandson had fun! Had climbing wall. Swings. Walking trails. Monkey bars.. Just wondering if slides will be put in? Will differently go back! Thank you to all who did work there!

We love Kiwanis Park and are proud to have it in our county for leisure, walks and playtime. It's well maintained and is a great place to spend time with your family

This is a really nice area for kids and adults. They have a walking area, dog playground (separate from kids play area)and a play area for the kids. And a stream running through for kids to get their feet wet if they want to. It's sunny in some areas but it also has a lot of shaded area. There are restrooms at a little building and picnic tables and rocking g chairs for u to sit in that area. There are benches throughout to sit on. There are trashcans as well. I love going and so do my grandchildren. I HIGHLY recommend.

Very nice and clean park to take your children to there is also a dog park located on the park grounds.

Our family loves to visit this park on a regular basis. It is always clean and very well maintained.

There are some homeless people from time to time that hang around, but they're all very nice and keep to themselves.

There's a creek that runs through the park that every kid will get in, so make sure your kids dress accordingly!

The Purple Martin trail connects to this park so you can also go for a walk.

Beautiful shady park with walking trails and very nice playground.

The whole area is well planned and laid out. The dog parks are a great addition. Adding some pipe for the dogs to run through/jump over would be useful. The slides on the playground are not just standard, they are longer and thus more fun.
The walking path is relaxing and inviting. This a great family area!

The lady at the ice cream shop told us about the park so we went and our Grand's loved it!

This place is so much better than what it was.

Kiwanis Park has something for everyone: young and old, those seeking physical activity and those seeking a restful moment, two-leggeds and four-leggeds. It is a beautiful spot and a blessing to the community. Locals and area visitors alike can walk the trail, play on the uniquely-designed playground, rock on a shaded porch, spread out a picnic on a blanket under the trees or at a sheltered table, or give their furry friends a play break in the dog park. Those looking for a longer walk or run can directly connect to the adjacent and equally beautiful Purple Martin Greenway trail. Kiwanis Park is indeed a respite from the rest of the world.

Really nice park. Playground for the kids, dog park with shelter for the dog owners and paved paths for walkers, runners & wheelchairs. Lots of trees for shade & small creek to cool your toes. Nice public restroom with drinking water available.
Plenty of parking in 3 areas. This park connects to the Purple Martin Trail.
So, take your dog for a walk today. It'll be fun for both of you.

Fun place to take the kids. There are plans to update the park in the future, which I know will make it even more kid friendly.

There is also a covered stage area for performances along with benches and picnic tables.

The bathrooms are very clean, which is always nice 🙂.

The paved walking track connects to the Purple Martin Trail, which is a wonderful walking path.

I'm so thankful that God provides our community with the resources to make this Park possible. We always have a good time here. Bathrooms, water fountains, bike path, 2 dog parks, murals, Nativity scene, creek access, grass, shade.
