El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

Friendly staff and great service. Portions were great. Prices are up a bit, but still worth it.

I love El Sombrero. I tried something new (#33), and it was delicious. The chips were so hot and fresh, and the salsa kicks! The waiters are attentive and polite. I just cannot say enough good things.

The staff was very friendly. I went during a not busy time, and was taken care of quickly. The food portions were perfect and everything was delicious. I wish the salsa was a bit hot. It's all mild.

Came in for a lunch and the place was not packed at all. Got a seat and drinks almost immediately after walking in and food did not take long. I had the El pastor taco special and it was good minus the super soggy torts. Very bright atmosphere.

Very authentic food with a super-nice staff! Amazing views of the town are just 1/4 mile away! Highly recommend!

We ate here on 7/8/23 and the place was clean, smelled good, looked good. Service was great, got everything we asked for quickly. Our waitress was amazing, always checking on us and very friendly. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. We enjoyed our visit and we will return for sure. Hope we get same waitress again, wish I could remember her name.

Probably the best Mexican food in Lewiston. There is a large capacity, so it's a great choice for large groups (for which a reservation would be recommended).

We usually order the app platter each; because we want a little of everything. 🤣 Great price for what you get! Usually lasts us two or three days. Their food makes great leftovers. Soooo good. 🤤
Everything else here is delicious and reasonably priced too. And they are ALWAYS super nice. They have the best service. 🙌 The only place we ever go in the valley for Mexican. 💕

Maybe it's just me, but I find when you engage the wait staff and make them part of your experience, and treat them well, you will almost always get a better experience. Waiter was kool, and attentive. Unfortunately I forgot his name. Price was very reasonable, and the food was good.

I mainly come here for the deep fried ice cream. Im never disappointed with this place. Service is always good. I don't think I have ever waited more than a few mins to be seated. Even with a bigger party. Food is always hot, and you get a full belly on the plates, that is, if you dont fill up on the chips and salsa before your meal. The atmosphere had good vibes.

This is consistently the best "Tex-Mex" restaurant in the Lewiston-Clarkston area. Other restaurants try to be more "authentically Mexican", but they either veer into the ditch and become a bar that serves mediocre food or a bricks and mortar "taco truck" that has a limited menu that may or may not toe the mark, depending on what time or day it is and who's on shift.
None of that here. You got your entrees, your specials, your sides, and your adult beverages and soft drinks. All delivered reliably quickly, with plenty of pizzazz and a smile. Clean as a pin, well lit, restrooms tidy, and delicious food. Family friendly, easy parking and entry, ADA compliant throughout, and low noise.
Pretty much a perfect spot.
